PRESS RELEASE OF THE LABOUR PARTY CAUCUS, ANAMBRA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ON THE

THE ESCAPE OF THE KIDNAPPERS AND KILLERS OF HON. JUSTICE AZUKA FROM THE ANAMBRA STATE POLICY CUSTODY

Recall that Hon. Justice Azuka was abducted on 24th of December, 2024 at Ugwunabankpa in Onitsha North Local Government Area, Anambra State. After a strenuous search  spanning over 46 days, the body of Hon Justice was recovered and his abductors and murderers were equally arrested by men of Agunaechemba and handed over to the police, specifically, the members of Police Rapid Response Squad (aka RRS). Everybody was waiting for justice to be served on his abductors and murderers. Interestingly, the Police Public Relations  Officer issued a press release indicating that two of the suspects who murdered Hon Justice escaped in controversial circumstances.

Part of the release was that in the course of the move to arrest the receiver of the vehicles that were robbed, two of the suspects escaped. We have reviewed the stories as told by the police and found it to be utterly disappointing and reprehensible and  a clear sign that there is a cover up somewhere. Our suspicion that this could be a political assassination has been heightened by this development. This is coupled with the fact that the police did practically nothing in the part of efforts leading up to the arrest of these suspects. 

It may interest you to know that this alleged escape happened more than one week from the date of this press release, yet up till now the police has neither declared the suspects wanted nor made any effort in that regard apart from mere platitudinal press release. One would have expected that by now the pictures of the suspects, their full names, addresses, home towns and other details would have flooded the public arena and social media, so as to afford people the opportunity of identifying them and reporting to the security agents for their re-arrest. These not being done is a pointer to the fact that it could be an arranged escape. The police officers that handled the alleged arrest of the receiver of the stolen vehicles were not only unprofessional but culpable. 

Therefore, the labour party caucus of the Anambra State House of Assembly demands as follows:

i. The immediate re-arrest of the fleeing suspects whom the police did not mention, but who had been found to be Kelvin Ikechukwu Ossai (aka Ikem) and another popularly known as Ocha.

ii. Thorough investigation, apprehension, and subsequent punishment of the officers who are culpable in the escape of the suspects.

iii. There should be a total overhaul of the RRS and other police formations who had been found wanting in the discharge of their duties in this perilous time. 

We demand justice for Hon. Justice Azuka, for justice shall not and ought not die in vain.

There was no plan for the growth and there is no ladder for ascension of the Party, infact the party love when they cross any bridge,they will burn the bridge forgetting that one day they will return or want family member to use the crossing.

APGA having stayed in ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT HOUSE since 2006 ,they have the most bizarre membership as the Party is not ready to build base ,as they are comfortable buying Votes instead of having same on merit,they uses austerity to frustrate party members.

Ndi AGULERI reduced the party to riff Raff Touty Outfit and we sang Nunc diminitus, and we murmur the song "By the River side of Babylon, were we wept" ,but that wasn't even heard by the sudden cartel as they pummel the oneness of the party to serve as party Ndi Agbero and we move.

Look around the party and her sojourn within the corridors of Power and see that they held the party on the Neck and continue choking life out of her ,no politician has survive Outside ANAMBRA under the party and any one that advanced did so by individual effort and connect,as the party wasn't build to remain valid , it's just transactional monument of the Church. Having been choked with Calls from Concern Ndi Anambara and Media World asking me if it's true that Chief Valentine Ozigbo has defected to APC 2 nights ago , meaning he have left LABOUR PARTY.

Well I reached out to Chief Ozigbo on it and he said and I quote " As we Speak,I remain the most trusted Aspirant of LP and most hopeful to fly the party flag which is making other parties uncomfortable,if I want to defect from LP or port  into another party, surely I will personally announce such on my page,I know I am in good terms with many POLITICAL parties and Politicians but it doesn't translate into unfair reports,but there is no cause for alarm".

Maybe certain quarters are scared about his legend in ANAMBRA Politics especially after he survived the PDP back stabbing in last GUBER election,now they are trying to make him object of smear and or subject of flimsy debate,but Ndi Anambara should know that we are only interested in Odinma and oganiru of the state.

Personally,I don't care about Party that will take over the affairs of the State,as long as the candidate is able and capable,the person must have chart of personal success in past endeavour.

THE INDIGENOUS SCHOOL for Ndi Anambara called ANAMBRA STATE UNIVERSITY,which was Anglicanized to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University with the acronym COOU , which survived Prof F.u Okafor as the first VC after the school was founded in 2000 ,then Prof Greg Nwakobi took over and gave the school a Purse and good Pulse ,now Prof Omenugha Kate is manning the saddle as Acting VC ,but waiting to appointing VC she is facing a Zonal fierce BATTLE,when they are using Kitchen Sink and Bath up gadgets to fight the appointment,she may have her flaws but the fight seem more on Gender preference and Zonal racheting instead of qualified and suited for the Job.

What we saw so far is that the school is trying to catch some traction as a young institution, there may be expectations that are not yet Aced which would've been a better ground for the choice of the VC and not Centrifugal innuendos ,just to create pity party.

Well ,the school we hope shall grow better and bigger, so that Anambara will fly her head higher and better academically and once they talk about academic sound, they will rate her not just nationally,but African wise.
