Whisper to ASUU..

ASUU hear the Plea from the gods by Last Born Mpa Nnukwu.

Greetings Ndi ASUU (ACADEMIC STAFF UNION OF UNIVERSITY) as you have been on strike for Months on end now, you have being agitating for whatever that is not reconciled with the Change Government.

ASUU is still  on strike, which they may be right or misdirected, it is not my reason or intervention purpose this Sunday Morning ..

I come as a Father whose Wards were affected, I come because somebody has to reason with fellow Adults and maybe there will be an understanding as adults.

Dear ASUU, kindly sit at your Cushion Chair or Couch, keep by your reach a Chilled bottle of any drink with Alcoholic content, because we need to discuss under the influence, so we can swear that what we said was under the influence of Alco and Justice will judge us fairly..

Since we met the Change dynasty, have we not seen that truly things have changed to extreme?..

Incase we forgot, they promised us change and because we sold our soul and reasoning to imported religion, we stopped asking questions and believing in what is not, so as the Change mantra hook us, we discovered that the change we thought is for progressive is only to retrogressive..

When we saw Rice rose from 7K a Bag to currently 35K, and the Stone filled Local Rice moved from 3K to 26K, that was when even our brothers who trekked from Lagos to Abuja in Solidarity started crying asking for the change to be exchange but iyasikwo..

They said A MEAL A DAY and we didn't pay attention, now it is real, we have a meal a day..

Then Dollar moved from 170 to a Dollar to 486 to a Dollar and without hope of stagnancy even at that Utopian height.

Crayfish skyrocketed, but the worst hit today is Onion which is conducive spice for our food, from Availablity now to Diamond status , the price is competing with price of Champagne..

Now it is obvious that poorest of the Poor has gotten the real Poverty, it was way before now that we use the mantra "He that is down fears no fall", now we know that he that is down never knew that beneath him is a hollow Valley which they dug at night for a free fall, so he that is down tremble now because of the mines laid all over, as you roll on your down position, the mines are searching to destroy you as well.

Dear ASUU, above is just to prep us to the discuss.. The people you are striking against are not bothered, they are not bothered that Fuel climbed from 86 Naira to 172 Naira and won't mind hitting 200 just because some people must live large.

Read my Lips, that you close down all Universities, turn our Sons into Yahoo vendors, our Daughters into Prostitutes from Runs Girls, the people you are trying to push DO NOT CARE, they careless if Tertiaries go into obsolete, as to them it serve better religious purpose, a balance they crave with passion.

Kindly, call off the strike, endure because of our Children and yours as well, when the Nation breaths a sigh of relief and usher inn a new Dawn, certainly a fair Government would step into play and bring smiles back to your faces, but if you think that the present Government will prioritize your agitation, then you are not truthful to yourself.. Do not forget that soon your salaries will be suspended as well and then Hunger will start punishing you, that will be when the Government will Whisper that Nigeria need no Tertiaries education, as the old educated ones are yet to get Jobs... Then it will dawn on you that we got Change that changed the Future.

As I head to Church with my Ekpere na Abu tucked under my shoulder, so I can Chant
