Urgent Appeal to Gov Obiano...

Dear Akpokue don't give away Commissioners’ Quarters.

My Governor Chief Akpokue Dike, I come to you again as your SPECIAL ADVISER ON GOOD GOVERNANCE and one of the most trusted "Non"ally.

I come to  tell you what sycophants and wreckers cannot tell you, because of aggrandisement they stand for..

Sir, I don't know how they sold that dummy to you about giving away Commissioners quarters to those living in them, at that give away price or 25 Million Naira for a place that is over 6 Plots of Land.

The actual price of the Land alone worth far higher than the asking price , if we add the value of the house, then we know we are talking Hundreds of Million Naira, but the hard truth is that it is not for sale, it is Apartments built for Commissioners and Other High Ranking personnels in the Government, those that served before you used it and those after you will also use it.

It will be justified for selling, if you have built alternative ones and the current one will become nuisance and burden to the Government, then there will be justification for such move, but not when there is no option or alternative.

Like Commissioner Mark said before he was barked into silence, during the tenure of Obi, such request were made for the quarters to be sold to the Commissioners but he blatantly reprimand them and tell them never to make such dumb request again, as that is Government properties.

It will be great if you can secure lands, build them with same capacity, then give it out to those you choose and nobody will say Pim, but giving out inherited structures that serves well is something that will generate lots of heat..

If any Governor should sale such place, the incoming beneficiaries will not be squatted in Hotels or the incoming Governor build one fast enough to accommodate them, also it will breed extreme corruption as any Governor will sale anything he inherited to cronies..

I want to inform you that such move can only fasten many wars with any incoming Governor as the Governor will eject all the Frauds who posses the place, for it's  wrongful or say fraudulent possession.

Since the  Commissioner for Works were mandated to liase and work out the details with Commissioner for Housing, I will advise you shelve it as the sales won't hold rather it will heat up the polity, plus any money paid for such will be considered by incoming as  just a pay back from the ill acquired Fund of the state by the Commissioners.

Excluding the resigned Commissioner from the Deal will also bring the DOOMS DAY closer, even though he won't be part of it, even if it was given to him free, but as the tenure is coming to an end, the Government should be mindful of Bobby traps just like this very one.

Giving out the commissioners quarters for pitiance will revive aggressive pursuit and recovery just like the selling of 3 Arms Zone which was created during Peter Obi and places marked out for building of Governors Lodge, Judiciary, Government House with the residential places sold to Civilians..

Which your Government resold, as for that one, I am not worried as my own plot will be returned to me or I just bring one Arusi and leave it at the place after your tenure and if they settle than one ebutem another and another just to let them know na Oke adighi eri ife onye mu anya.

Sir, as you can see that even the Local Government Commissioner have the guts to ask that the place be sold to them at 10Million Naira, as if he doesn't know that after this Government, he will face lots of probe on his management of JAC fund, now he wants to add Housing Fraud to it,this is one of the reason you should clear table.

Sire, as your SAGG, I won't be happy to retrieve from my archives all the things I warned you about, for I know that once you left Government, so many issues you think are buried will spring to surface and it won't be good, many of this people singing your praise will sale you out, Infact they will be happy to hung you to dry, you are just a piece of meal to them..  many of us will be throwing hands on the air as in agwalum gi agwa..

Among the items that will take the front burners including selling of Anambra House at Martins Street Lagos, two Anambra buildings at Enugu.

Hosting all MOU traders who came just to milk us dry.

Retrying our celebrated Abbatoir which was said will be ready in 2 years but the tenure is ending and the grasses at the site are yet to be cleared.

Many Government Lands sold off by Men working under you or those given out for Dash.

Sir, Anambara is a state where it takes time for things to sink, but when it does even renegades kidnap a Sitting Governor, which is to say they are Mad to venture into inevitable.. I will suggest you start amendment now even if it is dying minute, that may pull wool over some eyes and those eyes will be the one that will say "Hapuzie okwu ahu" (let the matter rest).

I know they are also hatching plans to make you sell other civil servants estates within Awka with many other Government places, but have you considered the fact that if Peter had sold those places, you won't meet anywhere to lodge workers?.

Government is continuum, it's a relay race and won't be like at the end of the race, the racer goes home with the racing Stick, if he does, he have simply killed the race, whatever speed he ran or fantastic performance will only become a provocative Scam to people.

The list are already compiled and a certain Town from the Riverline area constitute over 80% of the would be beneficiaries of the Bazzar sales of the Government but it won't stand, so allow it to manifest in the first place? .

Sir, kindly put a stop to this because they were built as Government places, which goes to next Government and next Generation, just as Edu Commissioner suggested, better give them Empty lands so they can develope same without encumbrance..

Thanks I remain yours Special Adviser on Good Governance
