Right of Reply and Clarification on UMUERI vs AGULERI conflict..
After my Urgent Appeal to the Governor to wade into the conflict between Aguleri and Umueri that restarted today, where it was reported that the Crisis was as a result of Umueri Youth Pulling down the Fence of Hon Chinedu Obidigwe, after many calls, text messages from concern sides, and having spoken to CHINEDU Obidigwe personally on the matter, he said and I quote "I Chinedu Obidigwe, Akaoma Aguleri do not have land near of close to the Boundary in dispute, I am not carrying out any fencing work around or near the place in question, I will like my name to be exonerated from the report please, as I am not part of the conflict and don't pray to be.. Peaceful existence between the Youths are my priority"..
Further investigation showed that there have being series of old Boundary dispute within the two brotherly towns and many issues now bothering on internal discrepancy over Igwe tussle, may be the renewed conflict may be political projected.
Our own is for the Government to intervene quickly and rest the tension before it escalate to serious Blood letting, whosoever that is the cause or what is the cause shall be resolved around a Table assembled around reasonable Men, not Men who compromise self by soiling hands and speaking through all side of the mouth.
Peace is paramount and shall be pursued with all Vigor..
Aguleri and Umueri Youths should know that War doesn't benefit the Youths or Towns, but enrich the Rich, so if any Elite or Rich wants Youths of any side to Wage a War, let the Youths demand the person to bring his Children to lead from the Front, also the Person should join them, so the maiming shall be justly distributed.
Mazi Odera POg JP wondering why Youths will invade another with AK 47,instead of Cold Hero with Nkwobi, who you killed today, may be your savior for tomorrow.
Lands are not owned, you just posses it for highest 100 years and they bury you inside it, so why fight over it?.. Let your Children struggle and create own life and not dying for accursed land bequeathed.
