Workers Woes..

Celebrating our Workers on Workers Hoarse day celeb by Mkpisi.

There is this National marking of Workers day which sound more like mockery than gracious moment.

Workers in Nigeria do not earn wages, they earn pitiance bad enough to be classified as smackrel fallen from the table of the Leaders, the Rich and the Caliphate , yet they want them to celebrate, and I wonder celebrate with empty stomach and impoverished families ?.

Celebrate Poverty, hunger or desire that has no solution?.

Workers in Nigeria are what working can never be, imagine a Banker can't have enough savings off his salary to save in same Bank were he save Customers money, Infact by month end his account is as empty as ONUICHA WHARF.

Nurses are so poorly paid that none can afford to fall sick at her Hospital bays.

Teachers are paid what can't even cover transportation, so if they have Children without Benevolence of the School, they can't afford to put the child in the school He or She spend her days trying to groom leaders of tomorrow.

Policemen, Soldiers, DSS and the likes are paid what can't take any of them through the month, the salary never consider that all of them are family Men with Children in our so expensive schools, who also fed them with same food stuff that cost fortune to get, so they feed from hand to mouth and the families look like Children rescued from War torn nations and we want them to Mark workers day instead of workers WOES .

So tell me what are they celebrating?

What is the need for such inglorious marking of Inanity?.

What they need is not the celebration but improved life, which is obtainable if we truly wants to do it.. Just come with me, let me proffer solution..

Scrap entire House of Representative as they are duplicating the duties of the Senate at almost same amount spent on sustaining them as they have more members than the senate.

The Budget for the House of NON-REPRESENTATIVES should be saved, used to service, sorry, use to argument the substandard insult we call salaries of workers with over 300%  raise and with spare change.

Then the Senate should be amputated, with precision of a Financial Surgeon like Peter Obi, certain things like Wardrope allowance(If you don't have cloth, come with Loin clothes).

Sleeping allowance(CHAMBER is not made for sleeping).

Newspaper allowance (let the person Read it online with self provided Data).

Cut off all SA, PA, (They said they want to serve but now they are the Lord's, and we are the servants, so they should serve without an aide).

Office of President should be slashed and over 60% work force knock off, he is serving too and should serve and not stand as a Throne ...

Senators can only get one Innoson Car for a tenure, which will be deducted from salaries of the person.

Now let me speak as Last Born Mpa Nnukwu, Dibia Onu Ike who can never divine for Ekperima..

Any man who is Rich enough to have Back Up HILUX or more than one Car in his retinue should not be paying Driver, Police or DSS allowance that is not less than 100K per month each of them .. The salary is something else which should be discussed and acceptable for a man or woman of such status, is because of peanut payment makes them to gather Graduates and use them as Urchins, let them pay well and you see they will add decency to thier Workers shouldera and accord them due respect.

Government should take back NEPA from the hands of the current OSO Chiegbus that took it over, refused to improve it, instead they add much burden and nobody queries them.

Finally, may I say to Nigeria.. What I see on the sky of this Nation doesn't have Tribe nor tongues as recipient, it will come down on all tribes and tongues and the Oppressed will eat the Predators with so much relish, unless the Predators stop eating the bones due to the Prey..

I am Mazi Odera POg JP, Last Born Mpa Nnukwu, Mkpisi Ndi Egede, Special Adviser on Good Governance, Minority Opinion writer na South East, Nwa Chukwu Ku na aka na ONWU agaghi egbu nwu ya and I just came back from Uka Ututu with peace of mind.
