Dear elected, you know you have the powers of the elect, just as the Governor and your tenure is Longer than his own, meaning you can apply same method he used on the man that gave him his current mandate ,who he removed his scent from Anals of Government. 

Just scrub his influence from your Office ,as he can't sack, impeach or remove you through proxy. You have equal Powers as the Governor.

As for the archaic law he wants to enact through House of Ashamebly, you guys should not sign that illegality document that will force a joint a account between the Local Government and the State,a move that is interfering with Supreme court ruling. 

insist on the provision of Supreme court that ruled autonomy for Local Government, you can't walk into another ruthless bondage.

Don't accept summons again from the Governor, if he wants to meet, he should come to you or meet you at agreed place, but not at his home advantage.
