Fire fighters in Anambara..

 ONUICHA the Beast in the dwellers, how they maim Firefighters by Dibia Onu Ike.

Okwo Ana ekwu Maka Mkpuru Mmiri joined with WEED and how the result appear with pathetic situations especially na Onuicha.

Just yesterday at ONUICHA, opposite ZENITH BANK at OBODOUKWU steet, adjacent to Relief Market, there was a Hectic Fire that rages, Fire fighters from OKA came all the way from OKA to join other neighboring fighters especially ASABA that is 10 Minutes away to battle the Fire, all free from all COST. 

I Know many of you will jump out and shout they are being paid, so are the Police who in most cases ask for Fuel to power thier own Vehicle or ask you to provide means of Transportation to go and make arrest, same arrest Fire fighters always make but the difference is that Police will arrest those who will make bail but Firefighters arrest FIRE that can kill them. 

Same with Civil Service who are paid too, but never render services until you extra grease palm, don't forget that FIRE FIGHTERS are also Civil servants, but just know they are with a Difference, they have souls. 

There is one Fire sub station  opposite or say 3 Minutes walk from the scene, but it was ill mobile because the Government can't afford to fund it or equip it, so it is moribund because we lack maintainance culture. 

Any case of fire, they are stunted as they can't battle it, because they can never use spittle to battle Fire, there is no WATER provided for them around or anywhere. 

Imagine a Fire station without Bore Hole or improvised Water storage , how can they even battle anything?,  they don't have Water, how do we expect them to have Chemicals to battle Fire that rages?. 

Well such ignorant mistakes can only happen in a state where nobody especially the Government pays attention to Details.. Moving on... 

The narrative get to twisting point when the OKA BRANCH came and were battling and subduing the fire, then the urchins of the Area, not Imported ones, who may have ignited the Fire or planned to turn the fire into cover to LOOT innocent shops decided to attack the Firetruck to discourage them and have a field day in whatever they had in mind, just as the fire Truck ran out of Water and the Driver was backing out to go and source for water to continue the humanitarian cause.

We should know that most houses in Onuicha do not have BORE HOLE, the ones that do have, Landord do chain the Vent and Taps with IRON CAST LOCK, so everyone must buy water even if his own house is Burning some of them will still sale the water that will be used to contain the Fire.

 Don't be angry with them, it seems the unplanned build up that hung around the City have affected the breeze and ways of thinking, I may be wrong but my opinion stands. 

So as the driver was managing to pull out, couple with the un-navigated terrain, choked up places, which was the reason I appealed to the incoming to demolish most of the properties attached at mapped out roads and open grounds, so it will make Onuicha look like a Town and not a prison that it represents now.

The urchins started attacking the Truck with venom, using stone and they Hit the Driver on his head and he lost control and swerve into Gutter, then the boys went after the Fire fighters with 2x2 Plank and break most of Firefighters Bone.. One can ask what is the offense of this Fire fighters?. 

They came to battle Fire they did not start and to prevent escalation, maybe because it is without payment of any sought ..

Being an Urchin is a choice and not a calling, so they should know na Nwata gburu Dibia na agworuya ogwu, na Ndi iro ya agwubero (A Child that killed his protector should know that his enemies are not into extinct), same way it is said gbue Dike, gbue Dike na Ogu Uno, mana Ogu ezi, achoba Dike. 

Yes the Urchins may not have a Roof over thier empty heads they crave to protect, but those living around them with stakes, who stand hands Akimbo and watching them scare the powers of protection, they are the ones who WATER will stuck by the gaps between the teeth. 

The painful part is  the Hoodlums that attacked the trucks are know in the area, it makes me to wonder if Onuicha has gone INTO Coma without knowing it?. 

They have driven business outside the town with the SIT AT HOME which those that initiated said they canceled, but the enforcers are still raving and the traders are not about to Trade madness with them to end it up, just because most market leaders don't have Shops or interest to protect, just because the outgoing Goverment has ruined everything for the state including..

 Turning Traditional rulers into APGA mischief makers and over 80% of Ndigwe today especially those elected in the Last 8 years must be Government enforced never the choice of the Town, same thing with PG and Market leaders, Infact anyi ga acho Okuko Abuke Iri abua na Otu iji piachasi aru ndia hapuru, ma ka Ana ejegodi. 

Why can't Onuicha traders rise up again and convocate another Boys Oyee and end both the urchins and those who reduced the trade in Onuicha under some disgusting mumbo Jumbo diatribe?. 

Why can't the traders get hold of those Hoodlums, tie them with Zip lock and use them to Wage the escalation of the Fire?

Every market in IGBOLAND should have a fire Fighting Tanker and water Hole that will be designated for Fire dousing or outright fighting, that will be at many Spots in markets and every place that assemble humans, especially na Anambara, other states Cho they can emulate after all Anambra leads and others followed or fight against it.

Each shop that did not have a working. FIRE EXTINGUISHER  will be made to pay big fine as detterent, so that in event of small fire during the day, they can put it out and save pains of losing Million to inferno. 

The Fire Tanker may not be like FIRE fighting own, but will be improvised to be used in place of FIRE with enough strenght to spray water like Canon , until the real Brigade comes to take charge, that can be called MINI FIRE RESTRAINT STATION with Market Task force to be trained in Fire fighting .

Time has come for us to stand up and protect selves, since both state and Federal Government  doesn't have the urge to do it, but we have the wherewithal to improvise, ogini ji Nkita onwu? 

Market Chairmen should start reaching out to Fire fighters, the same way they reach out to other agencies including POLICE, SON, NAFDAC and the likes, which I know that Traders buy Vehicles for some of those agencies, they can extend such to Fire Fighters, so that they will have a rapport they will milk for good.

For the two Fire fighters those Hoodlums put in Hospital, the Government should compel the street or the market where the Fire occurred to pay a heavy compensation for that outrage, so it is now the duties of the payers to get those involved and make them face the Music.

Factory owners should also have Fire prevention equipments, then from time to time send PR to Fire fighters, makana Dibia rijuo afo, obua Mkporogwu na Ajo Ofia.

Last last, all the urchins that fought Fire Fighters, should be arrested after punishment, will be made to Join Local Fire Vigilante, so they will understand the sacrifice of being a fire Brigade.
