ANAMBRA BROADCASTING SERVICE and ANAMBARA STATE GOVERNMENT, the MEAN and Meek by Mkpisi. 

Bikonu, i want to ask why Anambara state Government, especially APGA Government are not interested on having a Voice that is not cracked?rather they invest and promote already made Voices and by so doing making the voice to climb higher and our own moving down to cracking sound. 

I know we have one Moribund Television station (ABS)  which is State owned, with RADIO attached, but i know that the workers ka na eti igwe na achaghi acha (Pound Iron that is not fire melted) which makes it mission impossible.

I know our elders said , if you refer to your basket as a Casket, even undertakers will use it to perform the last rite.

We don't patronize our own ABS, we don't advertise on them , we don't engage them to showcase our events with full chest, and we think that they will grow, as gini Kwanu? 

I don't think anybody is patronizing the station, even in Government house of the state, it's only foreign station that the TV PRODUCE, how then can we expect the Station to make meaningful impact in the rest of the state?.

I can bet that ABS is not monitored in Government lodge, Office and commissioners places, including SA and other Government workers, which i know that even workers of same ABS may not be viewing the Station, because they knew that they may not get a clear picture, maka the Government are not interested. 

 

The station still operate with VHS CAMERA, i am sure they don't have a Drone that is about to extinct in modern world, yet my State TV do not have one operational one ?. 

I suspect the Channel may be presenting programs on Black and White with Color Bars , they still dwell in stone age TV because of unavailability of modern day upgrade. 

I beg the state Government to close eye and remodel the station, if we can make our own to compete with Channels and AIT which are private TV , then we can be bold to say , this is our station and then houses in the state will be turning into the programs, hiring them for Coverages, the state party will make sure that ABS will be the Anchor televising station of live events, not they hire CHANNELS. TV AND ABS eburu Analog Camera na akwughari na back of canopy.

The Faith of ABS is so Bad , that if they chase you down for interview, you will be binding and loosing because you know that nobody will see the interview unless when they are previewing at TV STUDIO.

ABS should be the Voice of the state and not shadow of the state, infact it's unlawful to hire another Television to anchor any state event, plus ABS should be the Televising station in all officials offices of the Government including STATE ASSEMBLY. 

Let the state invest money both on the station and upgrade, improve the welfare of the staff, so they will appear with standard Sophistication.

We had MINAJ TV which the state allowed to die and we know the Station bested AIT and Channels, but the Station lacked patronage as in ekworo na anya ufu , but we can reverse that trend, rebuild ABS , made it a house hold name , so that it will be received nationwide and our traders will be happy patronizing them , imagine if ABS TV should be presenting programs of Dynamic Stations like UGWUMBA TV the GIBRALTAR of IGBO centric and many other igbo programs, the world will be begging to be aired.

Lets rebuild our own maka ife na aga na this nation bu chi bó, anu ózó. Ogabu ódaba anyhow, ekwube any how. 

The status of ABS must be upgraded. 

The visibility of ABS must be seen from afar .

The package of ABS must be online and off line and ..

The Legend of ABS shall represent, let the Government do the needful as time is coming when we must rely on our own to tell our Version of happenings to the world and not rely on far away places with Lopsided handle that will limit our side of the stories.
