There is something our Government called FREE TRADE ZONE which is suppose to be a plus that will boost our ailing trade and commerce, rather it's a minus as it seems designed to give favor to aliens who gave us tethered loans..

Let's see the definition of Free Trade zone ..

"Nigeria's Free Trade Zones (FTZs), also known as Export Processing Zones (EPZs), offer significant incentives for businesses, including exemption from federal, state, and local taxes, duty-free importation of capital goods and raw materials, and simplified regulatory procedures, all aimed at fostering export-oriented industries and attracting foreign investment. "

The question is ,do FTZ Observe the aforesaid?

Does it foster export? 

Export of what first? 

Unless our bamboo,Trees ,Gold and other minerals shrouded from our IGR and which they obtain by making the places they invade to be war torn ,they sponsor anarchies and blood letting just to make sure they have seamless excavation from our soil , infact they have it easier than when we are Dependent on Colonial Masters.

Foreigners who enjoy the testament of FTZ ,enjoy exemption from Taxes ,which means they gain everything and pay us nothing. 

They clear goods with less than 60% of what Aborigines clear with ,and the content is same ,only they will place less than 0.3% of CKD at the opening of the Container which Customs know for sure that the container is loaded with Finished goods ,while NIGERIAN importers clear same container with 15.5 Million,Expatriates will clear with 6.5 Million and you expect them to compete in same market?.

All Free Trade zones do not have the requisite oversight to enjoy the padded bonuses.

Why did Nigerian Government give so much trading advantage to foreigners and stack a monstrous task for citizens on whose wallet taxes and IGR are generated? 

The name Free Trade Zone is a myth ,it should be Free Trade Doom,as foreigners operating the FTZ are running Nigerians out of the system.

They know Expatriates will only take our monies and re-route excess income to home countries,yet they have Tax less expedition in Nigeria while our Men in Diaspora pay through the Nose for harsher services they rendered, and money we make through excruciating hard work.

While Nigerian traders are pummeled with all sought of Taxing Brick bat in Nigeria,so we suffer in Exile and extra suffer back home and we wonder what then is our joy.

All Free Trade Zone areas are designed to help Foreigners to screw Nigeria and get away with it ,with added Garland.

I am sure that FTZ are unsupervised by any oversight committee,because we bow with awe once it's Asians and Caucasians that are driving us as slave masters.

The way Chinese and Indians are mastering how to circumvent Taxation in Nigeria ,how to avoid trading competitively in our market ,few years from now ,our own traders shall serve Ndi Asia as Servants as in Igba boí and then ,the austerity of generating IGR will be excruciating and a thorough Menace, because they don't add anything and we that are values are crippled by our own Government.

I wonder why Foreigners will have serious advantage over indigenous people,or is it contained in whatever MOU signed to obtain the uncheekered loans we took ?
