 DAVID and SAUL, THE CONFLICT and Maturity of David by Last Born.

The book of 1 Samuel 26 vs 7 So David and Abishai went to the army by night, and there Saul lay sleeping within the encampment with his spear stuck in the ground at his head; and Abner and the army lay round about him.

8Then said Abishai to David, God has given your enemy into your hands this day. Now therefore let me smite him to the earth at once with one stroke of the spear, and I will not strike him twice.

9David said to Abishai, Do not destroy him; for who can raise his hand against the Lord's anointed and be guiltless?.. End of quote.

David was ordained King at tender age, when even his family considered him inconsequential as member of the family.

 When Samuel with HORN of Oil came to his father's house as decreed by God the Almighty, because God has taking away the kingship from the loin of Saul.

Jessi the father of David, did what many of us shall do today if such situation present self, Prophet Samuel told Jesse that he came to annoint his Son King, and ask him to bring out all his Children.. 

See the catch phrase "All Male Members of the Family", the man brought out all his Male Children he consider Kingly, but Mpa Nnukwu who is a great Guy, he know how to humiliate us with our Idiotic bravado, he allowed the stage to play out, it get to when Samuel was in haste to pour the anointing on some Giant, good looking Son of Jesse, but God warned him that if that Oil shall rose without his say so, owelu Ula Maka ya Nti (He will use slap and rebuke him). 

So Samuel was angry and pissed, he must have spent enough time and wanted to get home. 

Here he was and the father brought out all his Sons and yet Mpa Nnukwu still can't show him who he will bath with the Oil, so in sarcastic fashion he asked the Man "Are these all your Sons?", So  Samuel can ask God, what again?..

That was when Jesse remembered that he has a Son who they abandoned alone in the Wild, who by human judgment is not kingly structured.

Well the prophet was angry and he need to dump his anger on something or somebody, that was why he said to the family" None of you shall sit down, until that Lad is brought before me ", imagine how long they must have stood, they must have hated David with extra passion, but relieved that when David came, meaning the  abandoned mistake has been found and sitting position allowed again.

David was ordained King, but it never make his Bread to be buttered, nor add Omellete to his breakfast table, Infact after anointing him, he went back to his Herds in the Wild..

 Then he was divinely sent to Kings PALACE for his IT (Industrial attachment), he wasn't known for his Musical prowess but he was admitted as MIKE EJEAGHA to King Saul and his Dexterity with Xylophone soothes the soul of Saul whenever the Mad spirit comes to surface.

Fast forward.. Despite his ever presence in Kings court, but when he was brought to the King at the Battle at VALLEY OF ELAH, where Goliath stood like a menace against the people of Isreal, where no Soldier dare face him, when it dawn on them that a Shepherd boy will be an offering to Goliath, so that Isreal will be ceded to Philistine as slaves .

When DAVID was brought to Saul, the King forgot that it was same Lad who play music that restores his Soul, he ask him who he is and David did not remind him about his Musical restoration which he always minister to him..

The Meat of the message is that David even with his glaring closeness with God, he still allow God to control his life, he refused to kill Saul even when it was in his hand to do so and end the sage and pursuit.

They tried to hold us and we made same ground a Gold mine and they never like it.

We took over all locations that is worthy of taking , buy swamps and made it Lively estate, decide the price of Lands and properties and any day we hands off the property, it will become a desolate Epidemic, it is the hands of God and not our might. 

They don't hate us for real, they hate the progressive nature of an Igbo person, let's not engage them in what they know best which is shoving and fighting.

So, let's just deny them the human targets which they desire and want us to be.

After the invasion, we don't have A Governor that will demand same treatment meted to others in the other divide, Infact the Governors we had are either Lame or putty on the hands of Federal Clay molders.

None of of our Legislators will ask why they pay the Northern Bandits that kidnapped School Children but send death squad against any one South East of the Nation.

Now we know that it is not fully external aggression, but mixture of Local ones, it is time we come back home and do a better Maths..

Let's Vote inn those Men who can stand up and act as Chief Security of States, no more those with Lilly Liver and who faint at the sound of Voice or call from the Caliphate. 

We start correcting the woes by using our Democratic provisions against Violence prodding. 

Let's use our heads instead of our strength, that way we shall live to tell the tales of our DAYS at the hands of the aggressors.
