Dear Minister for Education...

A NOTE to MINISTER OF EDUCATION from Pen of the gods (POg).

HONOURABLE Minister of EDUCATION, Mallam Adamu Adamu, I bring you greetings and Ideas that will place your name on the Annals of the greatest Nigerian.

I know it, you know it and the Nation also know it that most of Policies and practice in Nigeria are obsolete and hugely useless, but we continued to do same over and over hoping to get different result, which in all so sincerity will always make us chasing our tail like local dog with Rabies, just as the Nation loves to borrow unneeded funds from nations we should be feeding with our position as Giant of Africa filled with worthy Mineral resources , but because those nations know how to  Dot Political i and cross leadership T, we see them as superior and buoyant Nations and we go to them with Bowls in hand, begging for Alms which they give with draconic terms and as we don't read the Terms before signing, we accept Loans even when the agreement is writing with Devils blood, which will be shared amongst individuals who don't even need the money as they won't use it to bring workable sustainance to anybody, instead they take the money overseas where it will lie and the only way the owners of the account enjoy it is to look at the swelled balance and smile, until the owner die of Old age and the Fund disappear to the detriment of the actual owners of the stolen patrimony and enriches the Host Nation.

I wonder if the Devil will even allow our Looters to join him in Hell as he is scared that they may topple him in Hell, as he will need to learn how to be wicked and mischievous from Nigerian leaders and Black leaders in general but moving on.. . 

Sir, let's look at the Idiocy of Educational policies in Nigeria, and find a way to put your name on the Book of Progressive, that's if you desire to make a Positive difference..

1) Sir, there is no need for continuance of holding JUNIOR WAEC as there is no need for it anywhere including in schools or outside schools , so scrap it and show the world we have a Minister who cares.

2) JAMB supposed to be the Gateway into our Universities , but after writing JAMB, the student is requested to write another EXAM set up as named by the University, if JAMB is compromised or judged unfit, I plead you scrap JAMB and allow students to have direct exams with University of Choice, what are the benefits of repeating same process that adds no value over and over?.

3) Industrial Attachment (IT) is another program that needs your utmost attention, if that is a requisite, then the Tertiary that's  sending the Students out to scout for place to do IT, should be the one to discuss and have understanding with the INDUSTURES  in the states or region where the University is located or places the Students should intern, that way, the School just send them to places they deem Fit, and the ones who have the resources, the requisite qualifications and not asking Students to go and start chasing after places to have the IT, we know the Austerity of IT PLACES and the arrogancy of owners, so the task is undaunting to students and parents. 

Some ended up not getting one or get one that is unfit for anything. 

Same way COOPERS are sent to places they serve, should be same way Government should send Students to places they will intern for IT. so there will be coordination and qualifications of the given students. 

Must we make things tortuous and miserable for selves and unborn Generations? 

4) NYSC was a program formed by General Yakubu Gowon on 22 May 1973 to serve as recruitment place for Industries and Civil Service, then once in Youth Service Camp, Job Hunters will be poaching you, but since it no longer serve the purpose, and it adds no color, beauty or meaning to life of the Student or Government of today , why not just scrap it for good.

5) If not all, then one can say that 96% of Teachers in Unity schools don't care to train or educate Children, they just feel like cutting  thier own National Cakes at the detriment of our Children, who will rise tomorrow to save the Nation or become a Menace.

I hope you will rise  and make serious Amend to the decays in our education and do your best to carve a niche to yourself.
