RELIGIOUS BONDADE, AN AFRICAN MONSTER by Last Born.

Many time in the Past I have discovered that friendship of 20 Years can be shredded over religious conflict or bias indoctrination, especially when citing religious superiority or commencement which took our eyes off the Cross. 

I have tried in my little ways to sing a wake up song to our souls but like they said, one that lives in bondage with pride is the worst kind of slave, you can't emancipate self.

Few days ago I wrote about the un-necessary spending of our Patrimony by our Political leaders who went to Rome to witness the Red Capping of our Brand New Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpaleke, born to Amesi Town in Orumba Anambra State , a Town so small that one can mistakingly cede same to UMUCHU or Achina. 

Remember that Cardinal Okpaleke was the Bishop sent to Ahiara in Mbaise, the town known for the famous Ahiara declaration.

He got to his Church and Mbaise refused him the  Ecumenical Job, saying that they have enough Sons on the Job that Anambra man can't Bishop them,it was a fight between the town and the PONTIF, it raged and Rome stamped her foot on the ground that what is written is written that Bishop Okpaleke must do his work but the town turned the whole thing into a nightmare and the Bishop was withdrawn and a Diocese created for him at Ekwulobia, as he is about to start having the feeling of his new diocese, as the paint in his abode is about to dry, the Religious Political tantrum of Ahiara was revisited and the brand New Bishop was catapulted into a Cardinal,just like bring David from the wild and ordain him a King, making him standing in line to become a POPE, but let's not deal with Politics of making a Pope which seems to have been tailored to skip Blacks and Africa.

Mbaise and Ahiara are bad politicians, because what they played against Cardinal Okpaleke was a very bad belly politics, but if they understood Politics at all, they would've sent Amendment or Atonement Delegates to Bishop Okpaleke when he was pronounced a Cardinal, knowing that as it is,  Cardinal is the one holding the Knife and also Holding the Catholic Yam and can slice same as he wish, at any time and he decides who is eligible and ineligible to get a portion, but moving on..

After writing the piece, some of my people who are religious dredge came out with scimitar aiming to decapitate me for speaking the ills of the State, especially concerning those who traveled to Rome just to enter into another Political good book, a practice that held my state to isi aja aja (Sandy Hair), I questioned why those who are serving the people on Political Positions all relocated to Rome just to appear beside the New Cardinal who they will soon turn to Political Director of my State, instead of allowing him to be the Compass that will lead his faithfuls into Kingdom, a froth witnessed in Anambara Politics in the Open, which have held the state in ugly position.

Sure, it may have benefited some people, but I Mazi Odera JP POg insisted that it always give us dejected souls instead of qualified leaders , I started long ago to  plead that we seperate feeding religious Politics and allow same brand of Politics practiced by Ndiocha who brought to us thier own ways of life and shove same down our path and throat, and we became omuta ogbakaria (leaner who think self better than his teacher) or what my old man will call Okpo onye kpo ya (Traveller who lost his way and A Volunteer is leading him to the right Road and he started teaching the Volunteer the terrain).

Why must we fight sleeves over imported religion? We boast of how our own is bigger and better, whereas those who brought them to us are simply using it as a Refined Shackles or say DIGITAL SLAVERY on our African fate , they came to us and knowing they brought nothing that will warrant them taking what we have including the minerals under our foot, the gods our forefathers use as bridge to get to Almighty, they told us are graving images which they said God despise, but what they gave us is white graven image just like replacing Nokia phone with Samsung phone, the difference is just the name.

They took those our gods they said is powerless, build houses for them, feed them blood, but the difference if that they give them blood taking with syringe from blood bank and to stronger deities they stole, they give them blood taking from Africans living with them as second class citizens. 

In return the gods gave them wisdom and Vision and they are creating Models with Computers, things our boys can do now but in a crude way instead of refined ways. 

The most annoying about this is , we believe that our own DENOMINATION is superior, that we are the rightful followers of Jesus and others are undeserved sinners, but how come we all are targeting same Heaven or do we think that the Heaven we agreed we are running toward has side for White (Caucasian), Blacks and in our Black branch of heaven there will be CATHOLIC brand, ANGLICAN version, Pentecostal Heaven and Heaven for the rest?. 

If we are not stupid, we should have noticed that God the creator did not divide the air we breath, so that Caucasian will be breathing one, and blacks one, he did not provide Catholics brand of Air and Anglican brand, he allowed us to interchange air, live life side by side, but religion made us live life on Denominational Labyrinth and even our Elites are also confused and uneducated on matters of Denomination.

Read my lips, I was born into the Religious Mess, a town where a Catholic is forbidden from marrying an Anglican, where it was agreed that an Anglican can't make heaven unless esiri ya na Oku, where your God given expertise won't be allowed to suffice because of Denominational bounds and we don't think that such hindrances we created will resonate against us before God?. 

Don't we think that this Heaven is far from many of us because we are BIGOTS that are unworthy?. 

If you ask me, we shouldn't allow Religion to be cloud our judgements, we shouldn't allow religious jaundice to serve as our Pathfinder especially chosen our leaders and ways to live. 

 If you have hated me because of my religious stand, then I am sorry because imacharo ife, after all Uche bu Akpa onye obuna nya nke ya (Mind is like a Bag, each on his own). 

Finally, I owe My Governor Prof Soludo ezigbote Mba Ji for improving security this few days as anubero ogbumuo again for a week. 

So I owe him one Mbaji and ezigbote Ukpaka with Okuko Abuke, I will deliver to him after I am convinced that it is not cosmetics security we are seeing again .
