BURIAL of LATE SENATOR ANNIE OKONKWO "OKAKA OJOTO" the NICETIES by POg.

Senator Annie Okonkwo who made his Money as Cosmetics COLEONE in Nigeria was laid to rest in his Home Town OJOTO , IDEMMILLI South, ANAMBRA state.

Senator ANNIE inched into POLITICS after he have grown above trading where he also served as Principality on Cosmetics,Rice and other products ,he left a Mark on POLITICAL Path as well .

Senator Annie was Born on 23 May 1960 and departed on 7th June 2023, a Nigerian grounded politician and business Tycoon. 

He was elected Nigerian Senator for the Anambra Central constituency, taking office on 29 May 2007. He was a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

While in the Senate, he was appointed into committees on Upstream Petroleum Resources, Police Affairs, Environment (vice-chairman) and Agriculture. In a mid-term evaluation of Senators in May 2009, it was noted he had sponsored a bill for the Federal Government to make essential commodities accessible and affordable to Nigerians, and a bill to establish the Nigerian Citizens in Diaspora Commission. He was a contender in the February 2010 elections for Anambra State Governor. However, he lost to the incumbent, Peter Obi, who was reelected.

It must be recalled that he was the Owner of a Gigantic Warehouse known today as "THE PLACE " adjacent to NATIONAL THEATRE  where currently a Church is using it for worship and to hold TALKS where PETER OBI made TOP News at the debut of "Platform " that is the name of the POLITICAL Talk hold by the CHURCH occupying the Warehouse, Peter caught the world attention with his performance at that Platform in Lagos and it was noted that without peters presence the place is no longer a Platform but a Flat form.. 

Senator ANNIE has many other Businesses within and outside Nigeria.

He died a fulfilled Man even as his First Son Uche took over his Political shoes and advancing well with it as he Won a Seat under LP as we speak.

During the burial Mass in the Church Senator Annie is building single handedly at OJOTO,the creme of Nigerian Big wigs were in attendance, including many South East Governors , hosted by GOVERNOR Charles SOLUDO the current Anambara state Governor was on hand to welcome Visitor's.

Senator,Gov Andy Ubah , Senator Chris Ngige who succeeded ANNIE in the Senate ,Many House of Reps members, Senator Mike Ajeegbo of Minaj TV Obosi who Annie Succeeded in the Senate,Sen Ndi Obi ,Emma Bishop Okonkwo "EKULO GROUP", Chief Mike Umeh "Ume Ozo Dinobi,Udemba Amichi also known as  Mikky jaguar, Valentine Ozigbo, Chief Bart Nwibe "Ugo Igboukwu" Philanthropist Extraordinary , Senator Uche Ekwunife who started her Carrier with STANDARD TRUST BANK where ANNIE has  Majority share ,Chisco Motors, Barrister Sylvester Okonkwo who worked at same time with Akpabio at  SACOL owned by Senator Annie who now work as Chief of Staff to Akpabio, Cardinal Okpaleke was represented by Prof Chiegboka ,more than 400  Reverend Fathers were in attendance.

Abia Gov Ottie was on seat to pay respect,head of Catholic Knights in Nigeria,the Supreme subordinate prof Remy led the Knights at the burial Mass.

Sir, Chief,Barrister Joe Martins UZODIKE Aka na Emeze Anambra state  one of the most Grounded Political Template in the state was on seat as well.

Annie later lived in very Highbrow area in California,America where the Super Rich lives,so we can say he enjoyed his wealth and lived a fulfilled life.

SENATE PRESIDENT Godwin Akpabio was on Ground,not only because of ANNIE political weight,but as his Boss at SAHOL, though while addressing the Late Sage ,the Speaker said "I worked in a Company where ANNIE was the Chairman" ,a slight or mistake of the head and not of the heart if you ask me ,the truth is that he worked for Annie Okonkwo .

It will be recalled that AKPABIO worked for Annie Okonkwo in his SAHOL Company adjacent to Theatre Igamnu Lagos with his current Chief of Staff.

ICP PETER OBI stole the show as whosoever runs recognition of VIPS on attendance,once his name is mentioned,there comes thunderstorm ovation making him to continue to stand as Phenom of all time .

I pray that what ANNIE did not accomplish in his life,that his Son Honorable Uche will surpass, especially in making legends in OJOTO and IDEMMILLI South in General.
