COOU Tree planting and the Fees charged to Students and Lectures, the School reacts by Mkpisi. 

Having heard enough from Students, teachers and legs on the street that, the ACTING VC of the School, Prof Kate Omenugha has taking original Idea of FIRST LADY of the State, "STAINLESS"  NONYE SOLUDO who started Green revolution and Plant a tree 🌲 for the State .

Which She taught out as initiative that will help the gullies tormenting the state, but Prof Omenugha bought into it and suggested so to the Chukwu Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University with the acronym COOU. 

The Street have it that she was enforcing payment for plant a tree 🌴 at all lecturers and Students, it was said that Lectures are forced to pay 16,000 Naira from the meager salary and students to pay 6,000 Naira which will be deducting 2,000 per Semester.

Which would've made me to revisit her days as Commissioner for Education and might take a Walk through the 50 naira compulsory Levy levied to all students then,but that's by the way, moving on.

When we talked with the School PRO Dr Harrison Madubueze , he said and i provide "It was an objective idea to help and create a serene environment and create a beautiful and green environment for the school, yes the Acting VC is pondering over the suggestion from a Lecturer that provides , payment of certain amount to make room for uniformed trees, plus the fees will help in panting same ".. 

He went on to say that it was still on discussion stage, that it has not come as MEMO and therefore not implementable. 

 He said that Since the beautiful idea is generating Hullabaloo,that it will be scrapped.

So i am advising that both students and lectures should forget that school of thought, whenever anybody charge or deduct Kobo from your pay check as Tree planting fee or money, send me the information and we will dance the Surugede with Suya balancing on our palm. 

Meanwhile, i will Appeal to the incoming VC to bring more Decorum in her outfits in General as Nne Ewu na ata agbara Nwa ewu ana ene ya anya na onu. (i will leave it at that for now ) as our daughters should be learning Perfection, especially in ways of dressing and appearances.

 

Finally, i wonder if BOARD of Governor of COOU have Started working, as they should look into many contracts awarded and many things, because we want to bequeath the Best for our Wards.
