Football ressurated..

 Anambara Football Association, giving it a right boost by Mkpisi Ndi Egede.

Football is the Only Thing(including Politics, Religion, Sports Etc) that breaks every barrier in social Circle, with good matches on play, even Enemies can watch it with one TV,in one Hall and with happiness all around, but remove the spirit of sportsmanship, then it become a boring Object pursued by 11 mad Men with 3 over grown Adults Supervising and egging them on.

The Sanity of Anambara Football has never been felt as it is today, it is not Political but passion packed, the Job of making one ecxel in what he loved, making me to remember a quote from Jay Jay Okocha who said that he played Football when his parents will flog him for doing so, then he was marveled that Clubs pays him to do so for them , so he adds more flavor to what he love doing..

 Dr Emeka Okeke’s time as Chairman of the ANSFA Caretaker Committee, was for his active managing Aspire Football Club of Adazi, where he made omelette without breaking Egg, that effort simply show that there is future to the Round leather Object with him at the Helm, not just in Anambra but in Nigeria, which means, if NFF will be placed in the paws of Dr Emeka Okeke, we may be looking at replica of English Premier soccer, that can turn our lacklustre Football round,remove how we buried our passion in European Football, same way we buried American Music for our own before the turn around. 

In Anambara state we have Ifeanyi Ubah Football club, but not even free Gate pass takes people into Stadium to watch it, same is applicable in all Stadium in Nigeria, but traders can close Shop, pay at Viewing center just to watch Europeans play same Game. 

That same turn around that happened with our music is about to happen in our Football ... 

There was period, we only glorified American music but today, we celebrate our own Music, our music is so good that our musician do Collabo with Americans.. 

He Elevated Local Football in Anambra State as Caretaker Committee chairman of the Anambra Football Association but what I see is not just a Man who wants to carve a niche, but a man who wants to pull out a Buried passion in World of Football and he just started the terrific job as care taker Honcho.

When I read that Dr Emeka Okeke who turned Anambara Football around tendered his resignation as Caretaker Chairman, I know he has a Vision because as caretaker Chairman, he can't stand for election..

An Error that many over looked in the past, but capable of taking out season politicians from elected positions. That is conflict of interest and against the provision of our Constitution. 

The Nation's constitution provides.. before you go to any elective position, you must resign any Board position or any other elective position (If you did not do that, it is illegal) , so Dr Okeke must have his brain in right place, but I also forgot he was trained overseas where people reason the right way and He is a Medical Doctor that wasn't doctored. 

Inaugurated on the 6th of August by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), the caretaker committee launched “My Anambra Football” campaign, an initiative designed to promote and elevate grassroot football in Anambra state and in Nigeria.

This is a break through in Football, a pace only one with passion can unveil, it is only a mind that is innovative can do that, Emeka is that mind and he did it without Bill Boards and songs of praises. 

What made most Football Pundits agree that Emeka Okeke is the way to go when we talk Football in Nigeria? 

Answer.. Just 2 days after his inauguration as Chairman, he moved the ANSFA secretariat from a lock-up shop in Awka to a Duplex in a fitting Neighbourhood in Awka, Anambra State; and acquired 2 brand new buses to facilitate the activities of the FA, all without fanfare or sing praises that is inherent in Nigeria. 

What also makes him a Forerunner is.. 

During the inauguration he promised total inclusion of all football stakeholders In Anambra State which prompted the very first club owners’ summit in Anambra State.

 The club owners were further inducted into the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme courtesy of the Caretaker Committee... 

This is a sure way of taking Football from Grass to Grace, but what I expect from Dr Okeke is not just revival of Anambra football but going National to recreate a great Fun, fan filled Football, then later move over to CAF where he will position African Football to Stand at same level with other continents, if our music can do it, our Football can also do it. 

In their commitment to the promotion of grassroot football, the committee under the Leadership of Dr Okeke sponsored a 4-week club owners’ radio tour where over 30 club owners in Anambra state visited 3 different radio stations creating awareness for their clubs.

This is just on interim, but when he is elected, I can bet that he will start combing streets, schools, Villages and bring to fore all the Children born with amazing talents.. He has been doing it with limited option, so let's maximized the options and watch him do the needful. 

With his plan to bring back female football in Anambra State, we noticed the screening of female footballers by the  Anambra Football Ambassador, Maureen Madu supported by the Caretaker Committee.

As a caretaker Chairman, Dr Okeke pledged to bring beach soccer to Anambra State as a form of Recreation and revenue generating project for the local communities and for the State via Tourism.

 The idea has already been put into action as sites are currently being inspected for Anambra Beach Soccer, Beach Party, Beach Fun and he that dreamt it will perfect it, which was why pharaoh insisted that Joseph who has the interpretation to his dream will be the best in execution of the interpretation. 

If you ask me  I will say without fear or favor.. the committee has done in less than 2 months, what has never been done in the history of the Anambra football Association.

 We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for the newly assembled ANSFA, which I will say, Dr Emeka Okeke resigned or assigned is not our business, the business of Anambara Football is what Dr Emeka Okeke  the Son of GUO started, He must finish and we are not begging him, we are telling him.

Anyway, somebody close enough to him should pull his left ear and tell him that I am LAST BORN MPA NNUKWU and I make declarations based on etu Mpa Nnukwu siri Choo..
