The Sermon..

 Preacher man Hear the Voice of Obele Nwa Mpa Nnukwu.

Welcome to another Sunday, the sermon as always is what Ndigbo call ikuwa AKU OYIBO NSUGBE, it brings us to Spiritual and Commercial segment in Worships.

Jesus the author and finisher who we Ape, taught us the way to the Cross and also the way of worship but it seems we modified it to suit our yearnings..

Our standards today is in conflict with that of Jesus and opposing that of Mpa Nnukwu. 

Come with me as we first look at Jesus and the formation of what we have as he left it for us, which make us to be Christ like with bannal interpretation called CHRISTIANS.

Matthew 21 vs 13 said and I provide

"It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it 'a den of robbers.''

Above was what provoked Christ that he applied Karate and Rough house to dispense the merchants with Collar and also the Episcopal Raiders who turned the Temple into Den of thieves. 

Christ was angry that our Father's house was turned to extortion ground for trifle thieves, if he is to come today to house of worship, I am sure he won't even have time to use Karate or turn the table of money changers, he may simply incinerate the preachers with Congregants. 

Having graced many churches, including WHITE GARMENTS, PENTECOSTAL, ORTHODOX, then as Okpokopi Onye Anglican with the Word and Sword, I can say right now as Last Born Mpa Nnukwu that Holy Spirit seems to have flee churches and spirit of Money stepped in to take charge. 

Let me leave Pentecostal for now, as it was found as family Business, where G.O, wayWard wife with adulterated children are the Board of the Enterprise, Infact the filling of the Church are set to protect and project the family of the General Overseer, no longer projecting or advocating the principle of our Lord. 

No Preacher start and ends his preaching this day without calling for Financial commitments from the impoverished Congregants, but that is discussion of a debate.. We know that spiritual aspect of church service is less than 20% of the time spent, 80% are solely Commercial. 

I simply wants to wonder.. Why Churches with larger congregation, and at that I mean Anglican and  Roman Catholics has refused to go back to the ancient path that gave birth to our growth today. 

Jeremiah 6 vs 16.. 

This is what the Lord says:

“Stand at the crossroads and look;

    ask for the ancient paths,(A)

ask where the good way(B) is, and walk in it,

    and you will find rest(C) for your souls.

    But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

We the Church goers of today refused to follow the ancient Land Marks, we devised one that helped to swell the Wallet of the preachers and Congregants forget to seek the face of God, what they want is Financial Breakthrough, none wants to ask for the Path that led to heaven, the race of today is no longer the one leading to Heaven, they fight to get more wealth, then they fought more to acquire Landed property.

If you happened to have a Boundary dispute with Man of Collar today, you will wonder if, heaven is real or just a tattle tale they are using to scare us!!.

The meanness of Preachers makes even Heathens to demand from Satan why he lied to them, when they are not half as callous as the Preachers and the people they used to fear as Sons of light.

Until you have monetary dispute with Preacher or have Land boundary with one, then a little incursion or dire need will make it clearly that they value things of this world far more than going to Heaven.

The ancient Christians built schools, train us free of all charges, but today, not only they build Schools with the sweats of the brows of the Worshippers, but they sky rocket the Fees that 98% of the Congregation can't afford to send the Children to the School, the school becomes selective after it is build with the Fund of the church..

The Preacher become untouchable, many hires Police, Army and other Security details who are not Christians and who never believed in God or same God the preacher Preaches.. In other words, the preacher lost confidence on the Angels he preach and resort to Gun trotting Men who may protect them but not the soul.

Maybe they never want any dirty member  to tough them, but how Daft are they?.. Jesus who we ape had this experience..

Luke 8:40-49

[40] Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him. [41] Then a man named Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, came and fell at Jesus' feet, pleading with him to come to his house [42] because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.

As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. [43] And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. [44] She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.

[45] "Who touched me?" Jesus asked.

When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you."

[46] But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me."

[47] Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. [48] Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

This woman got her healing because Jesus wasn't acting Akpu Obi, he mingled, he healed and in all this he never asked for Tithe nor offering, instead he was the one who gave us offering, who healed us and who feed over 15,000 men, women and children without collecting from them. 

He never own a Canoe, not even a Donkey, but today's Preacher wants the best of things of the World..

They buy the best of Cars, they never want to know if under lining pastors are trekking from Falandapo to Church while they pack series of cars at home or the Children are out of school, what worries them is how much they have as Bank balance, not how many people ate the bread and fishes..

The question that worries me is, can any Preacher look in the Mirror from the Bible principle or Bible provision and say "I will make heaven".

We have reduced God to object of merchandise, we have angered him, we have sold his grace and disgrace him, we have crucified Jesus many times over.. But the question is.. Are we ready to go back and ask for him forgiveness and follow him again in truth and faith?..
