WHERE IS OUR LABOUR UNION and OPPOSITION PARTIES? asking by Mkpisi Ndi Egede.
It's obvious that we don't have Labour union any Longer in Nigeria ,imagine Fuel hiked from 170 to 1,200 ,down to 869 then Rose again to 1,360 and not even a whimp from the suppressed ,the labourers went on with silence as if that's the way forward, everything kept jumping over the roof ,yet no pim talkless of LAMENTATION from any union or citizens of the country that entered a new teeth gnashing Dawn, then the worst is lark of opposition agitation.
If Labour Union have been compromised, the individual members can start a remonstration that will humble the leadership that seems interested in what they get settled from the Government rather than what is fair to the masses ,they will announce strike and government will call them and they NEGOTIATE,then the strike will end even before it starts and not even a member will ask ,wait a minute what was the deal that aborted the strike ,as the issue in tussle wasn't addressed, but strike averted, such an act would've made state EXCO's to raise Hell and High water Against the National and picket them into submission or retirement, but all seems compromised.
Bread prices soared and not even a roar.
Bus fares keep jumping from Kobo to multiple Naira and none will ask ,where is regulation in a nation that salaries are regulated?
Country where monthly salary can't carry you for two weeks.
Let's not talk about abysmal performance of our currency even against African currencies we used to bully even under Late President Buhari of same APC.
Food prices skyrocketed and everybody moved on as if suffering if a new Normal.
Even Sachet water rose multiple times as if it was imported from China ,where we import so many life dependable things today.
The anomaly of things seem normal and no opposing voices ever croaked,
there's no opposition opposing anything ,as is we are compelled by Spirit of THE CAPTIVE,we work like Zombies and our resolve dyed with Kiwi Polish.
Odogwu Prof Chinualum Achebe wrote in his days when things was strong bounded and he said "Things have fallen apart, the center cannot hold",how I wish he lived in today's world ,what he would've wrote is something else.
Fela Anikulapo Kuti chanted and I provide "Suffering and Smiling" but those days ,there wasn't suffering to compare with today or say Governance under APC.
I wonder if the agitation is limited to Tribal Tomfoolery, when it's a certain named tribe ,they will be hounded but on another they will be egged on even when surrounded by impunity.
What is ADC body doing to clinch the presidency as the most expected opposing Party with a dreaded human force?, nothing ,rather they were engrossed with who is brutal enough to wage war and not somebody with capacity to make changes that matters.
They refused to have a concencus less than 8 months to election against an Incumbent that can do anything to retain power, all this makes me to think that some of the candidates may be sleeper Agents within the party whose goals are to weakens the Status quo and give an easy access to the Incumbent.
Moving on with stern face makes me to wonder in all resolve,
What's the job of National Publicity Secretary of ADC who was supposed to be the image maker of his party and image damager of opposition, seems he doesn't even have business being in the system.
All the ATROCITIES of Incumbent have never been challenged, talkless of magnified, not even once has he ask Presidency to account for her Junketing ,not once has he ask if Aso Rock is now in Presidential Jet .
He has never written anything Against the Incumbent, imagine in a time, LIGHT has gone below zero and everybody matched on as if it's normal.
The opposition seem at ease with the malnourished electricity, despite the gauntlet handed to them by President Tinubu who begged Nigerians not to vote for him if he can't fix our light.
He didn't make attempt to fix it and Yet the image maker refuses to highlight same.
Honestly, the lackadaisical attitude of opposition seems to be facade ,seems we are all on our own.
How I wish citizens wake up and ask self ,what then is our redemption?
