That was the days when Reverend, Pastors preach from what is called a PULPIT, that place is a sacred place above the Pews and Seats in the Church, it is called PULL PIT because the preachers are suppose to pull us out from the PIT of Hell, decadence, Sins, rottenness, greed, Avarice and multiple of that which make God to look at us and wish he send down Fire again to kpocha anyi ka Nchi (roast us like Grass Cutter) but that intervention at the Cross placed at Golgotha is holding his hands from just Smoking us like Cigarettes.
The Preachers now pay more attention with us by making us to buy Gods favor by the size of our gift to him and not to the less privilege among us, and they make you believe that if you did not pay Tithe ,then Devil has registered your name in Hell fire, they don't preach repent that Kingdom of God is at Hand, that one is past tense and certainly they don't climb the Pulpit again and say that the Government are committing iniquity, they prefer competing with the Government on who will Screw the people more by making sure that Poverty that circles around is not small one, and that brings me to.
Just like Candle in the wind, the lone Voice in Echelon who call it as it is has been Choked with aggressive show of shame clothed with Power invasion, and that's when we talk about EKITI state election that just took place.
No need to remind us about the colossal invasion of the state with over 30,000 Policemen and 4,000 of Combatant Soldiers, which if such numbers were detailed to PLATEAU, BENUE and those places where the HERDSMEN invades without fear of arrest, reprisal, counter attack or investigative onslaught .
Had we despatched such numbers to those places, the shear strength and numbers would've made the Herds killers to try migration into Chad or NIGER, but that wasn't to be, so instead we concentrate them on just a state.
That the result of the election disagreed with the actual according to the Agents on various polling units is not that surprising, but what is surprising is that the Yorobas, IGBO, other tribes are silently thinking and hifiving that "Rabble Rouser" FAYOSE has been dealt with, that APC has taking EKITI state, but the tears or sorrows of democracy is that we just buried Democracy for good.
I won't talk about the buying or selling of Votes, that is for later analyses if need be. ...
What I observed in life is that, when you support a dishonest Scale during the measuring of your enemies provisions, you have equipped the traders with the material which will be used in selling defective and dishonest merchandise to your children, wife and relations in no distant time.
It's like empowering young boys with Arms as Private Security which we all Know are just group of Urchins and Dare devil menace, be rest assured that once they started making profit from the powers provided by the fear of Guns which they have at disposal, they will graduate to Future open menace and not even you will make them to disarm, because they will grow more bold and violent and if you think you make them and can unmake them, that will be the time you understand the implication of feeding your own Pet dog with Raw,bloody Meat, the dog will come to like the scent of blood and will start with that of your enemies, but will graduate to that of your own Children and nothing can change it .
I was shocked that EKITI Election showed that we no longer have democracy, we saw that Both APC and PDP has taking Democracy to another level ,the Candidates no longer worry about manifestos, or how they will convince the electorate.
They are not worried that they will be judged with what they did in other areas they have been trained or retained, they are not worried if they owe you Salaries for life, what is the latest trends now, is for any candidate to stockpile enough money, no matter where it comes from, it may be the saved unpaid salaries ,it might be loan taking with Bond of the State or Upper Government and which the same people future are placed at peril, but come election day, they will stack the money as PAY AS YOU VOTE, but that is not even the worst, the worst is that whatever that was collected as Votes casted at the polling units are no longer considered the result of the election, but the ones writing with interest of whosoever that has enough Hard Heart to deal with the people and suppress any demand for fair play, good Governance and better Future.
That PDP lost EKITI state is not a big deal to me because the Governor is owing Salaries, but I would've love it if he was Voted out by the electorate, that way it will be a collective message of rejection, but with the Federal display of muscles, it reduced democracy to nothing.
Well, the irony of this is that we the South East are still been placed under intensive POLICE CONDOM, they placed our Zone on perpetuatual extornate bondage, we have over 30,000 police Men lined up our roads with arms and Patrol Vans, which serves two faces,, either because we are extremely too important in the events of the Nation or because we have a more developed communities which anybody that entered South East will see the beauty and there are more Funds flowing with grace down East, so it is either the Police are following the Development or following the money or they are providing security for the Goose that lays the Golden Egg, after all, we know that Police are seconded to Banks to protect it because there is treasure and value inside it.
They are seconded to Very Rich men because they add value, you can't send Policemen to protect Forest or Bush because there is nothing that needs protecting out there.
They can't go protecting Wine Tapper, he had nothing that attracts the respect of the laws.
The only reason why over 45% of Nigerian Police are sequestered in South East States and our Private Billionaires is not far fetched, it can only be defined with an IGBO parlance which states "Onye bu igu ka ewu na eso ".
Moving back on to our National childish erection, the seed of depraved democracy we sowed today, certainly will bear fruits of Sour and bitter grapes which will be seen come 2019 Presidential and will bear grand Children including subsequent elections, but the hard truth is that our future in Nigeria as a Nation is doomed, as what we call suffering now, in few years to come will be quoted as one of the great times in history, unless we make a Change of the Trend.
The Youths whose future is been raped are the ones who should have stand up to say.. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH but surprisingly they are the ones who believe that Stipends from the paws of the devil is sweeter than the harvest that would've come if we plant right.
I have preached, I have prayed ,I have wrestled with the gods just to help on the redemption move but our Youths are too Lazy and Stupid to understand that if you truly want a Bountiful harvest, there must be time to Plant and after planting you will be feeding with scarcity until harvest time, so the trial period is that time you await the Plants to mature...
What the Nation urgently needed today is not money Bag, not those who we think can Snatch power from APC because we have seen the display at EKITI, what we need is somebody who has shown the penchant of bringing out insolvent States to Heavenly places and that should not be looked at IGBO, YOROBA, AWUSA PRISM , it shall be looked at by placing all those candidates on same Table and look at them from various angle, perspective and pedigree, then we choose the best and stand with the Best and with unified Voice, shall we Speak that we want Redemption.
