Dear Minister of EDUCATION..

 OPEN APPEAL TO Minister of EDUCATION, by Mkpisi.

DEAR Mallam Adamu Adamu the Minister of EDUCATION, I come to you as a Father on whose head our inept education is playing Draft Game mixed with Ping Pong, the burden has gotten to intolerable level and the cry we suppressed are causing us Heart attacks, the center of our understanding is torn into shreds and without options in sight, I come with heart yearning for succor which I know we deserve for the sake of our Children and unborn generation, unless we believe that Nigeria will not last till next Generation, but even at that, we owe selves some semblance of sanity, I mean for our Children as our Generation has been afflicted beyond redemption. 

Sir, the difference between Education back in the days and the Con we practice now is making Nigeria to look like Global apology on a light side, but in reality we are GLOBAL ACADEMIC TOXIN. 

We have children who are born brilliant, who are street wise and who can best thier mate anywhere in the World if given a little playing freedom, but Nigeria is not trying to help this kids who are supposedly the future of this Nation.

Other places in the World are banking on thier Children, but we are bullying our Youths and I wonder what's the game plan. 

Sir come with me let's reason a bit..

Let me say in Anambara, a Girls School.. Let me quote

 "Regina Pacis Secondary School Onitsha in Anambra State, won the Gold in this year’s global finals of the Technovation Challenge in Silicon Valley, California, USA. The Technovation program mentors young girls around the globe on how to use technology to solve problems in their communities."

This Girls with Table Top Computers provided for them by the Then Governor Mr Peter Obi , which may not be more than 10 for the entire School, meaning you take few minutes a day to romance it and that's all you get with computer as it will serve many, a privilege enjoyed by very Few schools in Nigeria, others don't get to touch Computer as it is not anywhere within the School as Governors finds it unimportant or just to create a gulf between thier own Children who are eating the sweat of other less privilege kids, as the Children of all Ministers and Governors are schooling Overseas, showing that they lost confidence on the Chaff we breed as Education.

If we truly want our education to rise above this drudgery, we should enact a Law that compel all Children of serving leaders to domicile, educate and work in Nigeria and if it was discovered that one lied , then prison sentence will suffice, that's step one of our redemption. 

Even those whose Children are abroad already, if you want to take up position, just bring back your kids as commitment to serve with all your might. 

Yet this Girls bested other Kids who have personal Tablets, who sleeps with Computer and have unrestricted access to Internet, imagine what this Girls would've done or will become if encouraged by the Government or powers that be...

The Bad news is that this Girls came back to Nigeria with the laurels, the only recognition from the Government was photo Opp, the Government did not offer them Jobs, no Computer, no Scholarships to advance those brilliance displayed.

Maybe because they are from the most hated Tribe in the Nation(Ndigbo) , but what does it done to the psych of Ndigbo?.. It made them more resolute and winners even in areas they are not supposed to, but let's move on.

Sir, the worst news is that our Education is no longer for educating our Kids, it was back in the days that Companies and Parastatals goes to schools and Pencil down potential work force, especially those students who show brilliance and give them employment right out of school , that encouraged others to study hard, but today after WAEC , there is NECO which is duplication of same thing, like we have Senate and House of Representative in Nigerian Legislation, an exercise in frivolities.

Then the Students will go for JAMB which was planned to sieve Students, but when it was discovered it gave entrance into Tertiary to those who are most qualified and while at it , it favors only a certain part of the Nation, it sent jitters down spines and it was adjusted... 

Each Tribe have a different Cut off Mark, making a certain Tribe to get real educated, while another gets graduating Students who can't even compete with Children in Primary Six at Eastern Divide, which was what can be said "Cut the Nose to spite the face".

Little wonder you meet some Coopers who can't Pen a line in own Resume, and same get positioned to led even the most Educated and how then do we think that this Nation will come out from this present and pressing COMA?.

The fraud is unimaginable, how can JAMB set up a SCAM with our GSM PROVIDERS that exploit parents, Con the students and present the Nation as place of utter decadence. 

They set a SCAM called Profile Code, to get the profile Code you have to send your  NIN which is another exploitative Con into a certain Phone number, which they will charge you 50 Naira per effort, but nobody has gotten it right within 10 trials, it must be up to 3,000 Naira wasteful spending of over hard earn money. 

Multiply 3,000 Naira wasted into over 100,000 Subscribers.. Not adding the JAMB form obtaining fee... After all those exploitation, then the Student will Pass Jamb, that is not guarantee that the child has gained admission into University, it means he or she has entered the second phase of the CON as the University will start her own entrance examination which also demand another sorry, let me rephrase.. Another series of mumbo Jumbo payments.. 

If JAMB EXAM is not acceptable to UNIVERSITIES, why then should they allow Students to spend all the resources pursuing innanities?. 

Scrap Jamb and let students seat for the Exam at the University of choice or let WAEC serve as the entrance requisite, as it is in all West Africa. 

Sir, I also want you to scrap this dredge called NYSC as it add no value whatsoever, Infact that has been a misplaced priority, it is a fatal mistake that ought not to be in existence, it has not added value nor will if ever add one.

If NYSC is a place where Job Scouts hunt for candidates to be employed, then the hullabaloo can be understood, but after Service be rest assured that you can't get Job anywhere including Government places, so what is the need after all?.
