Viewing the Southern Governors meeting

 SOUTHERN LEADERS my Thumb up for you by MNE. 

Good Morning Ndi South,.my heart leaped for Joy when for the first time, southern elected Governors agreed to meet and met in peace at DELTA State Government House.

Not only they pulled a power packed Press Release, but they are seeing through the unintelligent Divide and Rule format which was created to create a big division between the people of the South, to make rulership easier for the invaded but extremely Minority Tribe.

The Governors outside unelected ones who prefer to be seen in company of the Peoples elect  came together with a resolve to address the empasse, the Wanton killings and invasion of Southern places without Fear of reprisal by those who believe that the right to live, eat, drunk and populate lies with them.

I will paste the Bullet points and opine as Last Born Mpa Nnukwu (The last Born of God Almighty).. Let's stroll Dear.. 

"The entire elected Southern Governors meet for the first time on 11th May, 2021, the at ASABA the capital of Delta State. 

Forum reviewed the situation in the nation generally and focused on the current security situation, agitations/restructuring,

prospect for inter-state collaboration and partnerships as well as on the incidence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Rising from the meeting, the Forum:

i) affirmed that the peoples of Southern Nigeria remain committed to the unity of Nigeria on the basis of justice,fairness, equity and oneness and peaceful co-existence between and among its peoples with a focus on the attainment of shared goals for economíc development and prosperity;

This is what most of them wouldn't have said on personal capacity, because it is weighty and the oppressors are intimidating especially to those who have Voice of dissent, but with the unified purpose from this Governors, it is a walk in the Park and no sane person will fault the resolution. 

This is a great turn around for the South, the days the remaining one part of the Tripod always decide how the Dice is rolled even within the Southern Hemisphere seemed to be Numbered. 

ii) observed that the incursion of 

armed herders, criminals and bandits into the Southern part of the country has presented a severe security challenge such that citizens are not able to live their normal lives including pursuing various productive activities leading to a threat to food supply and general security. Consequently, the meeting resolved that open grazing of cattle be banned across

Southern Nigería;

Mazi Odera POg JP reacts... This is Crux of the matter. Open grazing has been the Chick which is used as Bet for the Hen all this while. Once a perfect restriction is called and consequences of defaulting silently meted, the menace which lurcks around the trade, hiding or addressed as Herdsmen will totally collapsed. 

If truly they wants to Herd Cattles, they will go into Ranching and when they Ranch, it becomes a Taxable Trade, that way the business won't be criminalized as it is and then it will start providing so many other essentials including but not limited to MILK, HIDE and SKIN, ORNAMENTS processed with the Horns, manure from the Dung ETC.. 

iv) recommended that the Federal Government should support WILLING States to develop alternative and modern

livestock management systems;

Waiting for the Federal Government on this is being economical with the Truth we all know, just pass a legislative laws within the state and source for independent sponsors or get industrialists to branch off into such field with little cushion from the State Government, asiri ebie.. 

v) agreed that the progress of the nation requires that urgent and bold steps be taken to restructure the Nigerian Federation leading to the evolution of state police, review of revenue allocation formula in favour of the sub-national

governments and creation of other institutions which legitimately advance our commitment to and practice of true federalism;

Mazi Odera POg JP reacts... In a short Word, this is restructuring, a good Call, this is not about Division but to restructure and get this Nation back on the right Track.

Actually the Nation as she is now is running like a werewolf and Hunters are aiming to put her down, there must be a leash that will restrain certain moves from this home made but Wild animals. 

vi) recommended that in view of widespread agitations among our various peoples for greater inclusiveness in existing

governance arrangements, the Federal Government should convoke a national dialogue as a matter of urgency;

Mazi Odera POg JP reacts... This is time to have a seat down and talk period, not like other previous talk that was buried after the exercise, but an immediate implementable Conference. 

vii) recommended that in deference to the sensitivities of our various peoples, there is need to review appointments into Federal

Government Agencies (including Security Agencies) to reflect federal character as Nigeria's overall population is heterogenous;

Mazi Odera POg JP reacts.. I owe all Southern Governors one person one Pot of Isi Ewu with Ofu Ite Otu Nkwu Enu.. They have made my day, they have truly stand up to be jotted into the books of Chronicles. 

ix) expressed concern on the continued gridlock on the Oshodi - Apapa Expressway and the chokehold it has exerted on the nation's economy being the sole outlet from Apapa Wharf. The meeting therefore recommended the activation and establishment of ports in other States of the federation to create new jobs and promote socio-economic activities in the country;

Mazi Odera POg JP reacts... Infact, I will add 2 Plates of Ugba with Okporoko garnished well na Nke OCHIE ITE, with another ITE OTU Nkwu Enu.. This is blatant truth which I never knew our leaders  Noticed. 

x) the meeting expressed concern on the economic implications of another lockdown on the country, and therefore suggested greater coordination and cooperation

between Federal and State Governments in evolving strategies for dealing with the pandemic;

Mazi Odera POg JP reacts... Because it works cruelty on the South and never observed at the other Divide. So all applications are just to get the South into a tight and horrifying situation, the Chief Securities of each state should be responsible for the state as they know the Pains and Plights. 

Finally the advise of my old Man comes into play here, he said that Broom is effective as sweeping instrument because it is assembly of brotherhood bound with a twine, so with little individual effort, which amounts to Fortress because of the Unity, they can make exploit, but loose the unity and they can be taken apart one after another and be used as Tooth pick.
