APPRAISING 18 YEARS OF APGA GOVERNANCE in Anambra without interruption by Mkpisi.
My old man will say "achóba ikpu isi, si kpua afu ónu" (While barbing, one should trim or barb the beard to present a Unique facial presence).
Also , atóba útó, si wepu aghugho (Separate theatrics from relationship).
18 Solid Year of APGA at the helms of Affairs in the State, let's take a closer look at the scores and conceed of the party, because it have been a marathon exchange between the party with plot of changing powers between 3 Senatorial Zones, even when a Zone have unqualified candidate, they still have the chance to experiment with the Treasury of the state without questions concerning how they handled it or hacked it into bits.
I know many may love to isolate cases and pontificate , especially when Central Governance brought equity and justice.
Northern part brought Ogini na afio and SOUTHERN part which are Known for AGBEROIC brand of Government is on display with APRON decked upgraded AGBERO with more rascality, but that's not the main strife, they are same parcel or say Coin that is inseparable, so having that in mind, we shall appraise APGA, the Party, the Governance and need for tomorrow.
A Party that have served or better still sat at the head of Government of the most lucrative state, the state that started as home for all, but baptized to Light of the Nation, though we doubt the illuminating texture of the light after the first stage.
APGA inherited a recovering state from Dr Chris Ngige of PDP from ANMABRA Central, then Injected some life into the Government through Peter Obi also from Central and his Anids ,and the state look awesome on the interim, show hope and look green like an orchard.
APGA use to be "Nkea bu nke anyi" when it was covering Igbo interest, while it serve as podium of igbo well being.
Then transformed to "Regional ownership" as nkea bu nke ndi Aguleri when it became Zonal enterprise.
it became SCAM institution which forced a phrase "Refund and resign" during the tenure of Victor Oyeh on whose tenure they gave APGA Presidential ticket to a man who participated in the Carnage that lasted 3 years against Ndigbo, and the god's were really disappointed.
They despised the foundational Pillar who is the scion of Igbo Land,a man who brought hope to the party,a man whose membership made the party a dread to sectors, they messed up the Wife who stood with the Party through thick and thin, but was sabotaged in her SENATORIAL race, thereby insulting the legacy of the founder who rested in peace.
ANIDS placed the state on map of great Dawn, making the State to have Utopian believe that we have finally come to enjoy GOVERNANCE with finesse, but it was just a mirage as the next Government of APGA held the state on suffocating brand of Kindred politics.
Though APGA with her style of POLITICS brought SECRETARIAT to us , revived primary health care, inject life into Primary and secondary school but removed the sustainablity of the enterprise, kind of you sow seed and refuse to water it.
The PARTY taught the Nation that we can save money , have Report Card that treat the Tenure of first APGA Governor, where you can see the does, don't and work of the party... then the party killed it without effort nor stress through the next Governor of same party, just dragged the party back to how it was when Bridangate was the watchword of the State.
APGA gave us AIRPORT, gave us 3 OKWABE IKWUBE that unbalanced the Capital, gave us all Brand of AGBERO, gave us Street lights which lasted just 4 years and was uprooted.
Before now , an economic professor told the state that after careful analysing the state, that he stand on his honors to say that "The state is not broken, no need Fixing it ", that was When non economist among the state where shouting about the decadence that is prevailing, we believe the Professor and to show we had so much Faith in his assessment of the State, we handed him the unbroken State to manage, which he is managing as he can.
APGA 2 other Governor's that led for 16 years set the basis for a greater state, also I would've said, they laid the foundation for the growth or impoverished of the State, but since a professor of Economics made a classic conclusion that "it wasn't broken", we all know that the state with Metaphysical eyes of academician is not what we saw , we saw a shattered state, but economist who know better saw unbroken state and we conceed to his appraisal.
Since we have INSECURITIES on a High, we assume that it's culmination of the 18 YEARS of APGA.
Then we also Noted that even when the party transmitted Power to same party, they always abandon projects Started by same party.
They haven't held constitutional requisite Local Government election, for reason shrouded to the party alone and they despise reminders for that election which is constitutional provision.
They refused to recognize the POTENTATE that made the party Dear to ndi Anambara, the man we call IKEMBA Ndigbo, the man they know and dread as amuma na Egbe igwe and since then , the party na ada zi igharamigha.
Finally, the party which has ETHNICAL Dread, as the TRIPODAL setting dread the unification of Easterners which they saw as bonding in one party, but the party refused to move out of one state party and CONQUER or infiltrate other eastern states, it rise and fall in Anambara state alone.
i tried to grade the Party, but the performance and the aura is giving me goose pimples and i bow in total confusion, so i dare not say that APGA has done well in 18 years or stay stagnated, what i know is that, we all are witness to the charades and window decorations coated with centrifugal actions, which my old Man will conclude as "Two steps forwards, 4 steps backward".
Having made my 18 years observation on APGA, let me simply save my DATA as MTN is in COMMA and needed drip to revive, but unfortunately, Nigeria need revival more than MTN.
