RELIGIOUS AFRICA, THE TWIST OF THE TALE by POg.
Africa is the most blessed on surface of the earth, at least with natural resources and endowment, skin and blood that covered our body is so unique that Caucasians tan the body to get a percentage of it,but it can't be so, it's onataru chi (natural endowment).
But the only thing we lack with vengeance is Sense of our own,we ape the West that was suppose to look up to us ,because they are cursed with Bad marriages, upbringing, moral decadence are other of growth within the confinement they dwell inn,you dare not train a child, you just allow him or her to do what they like and you dare not complain, the laws even empower your kids to yell at you and use cursive words at the parents without correction.
They also grow up without brotherly love or family uniqueness that bonds souls, non fraternizing with one another ,like we have Kinsmen setting that carries us through the rough patch and a brethren coming to your house unannounced just to check on you, like it or not , it's African thing and it helps,as when he calls either you lied and say all is well even when you are going through hell or your spouse lied ,but on a visit, his eyes will pass the situation as it is.
In the exalted White man's country, you can be a billionaire and within 2 years you will be so poor that Church Rat will be having pity on you , you don't own a house or own your life , they have a twist to life that set your life on edge, unless you accepted the throne of devil, they will make your life Hell on the street, as they have a metaphor of Homeless, even to a citizen, born, breed and buttered within the system.
It's with caucasians i know the meaning of living in bondage.
We accepted foreign religion without questioning the motive, even though it was shoved down our ancestors throat, but generations after our ancestors were too busy trying to be lost that redemption ran away from us .
The only thing Africans want to excel upon is fluency in English, not in science, not in advancement, never in the Imported Governance Style called Democracy, where the Caucasians and or say the invaders held leaders responsible for most things, they taught us to hold God and gods responsible for what our elected should be responsible over, while they held the elected responsible out there, they have a long time plan here on Earth and mold our mind to focus on Houses Above where they have never visited.
The Government were elected to provide Light and Power, PIPE BORNE Water, Security, education, good roads and health insurance that is assured to be a must , but, in Africa we ask God to build our roads, heal our sick (When you are sick, Pastors will descend on you with anointing Oil and Waters which is not free and not cheap , instead to refer you to medical expert ) , create Jobs, secure our lives even though they extraticate SECURITY VOTES, populate our Bank alert with fiction monies, whereas the governing bodies takes all within the coffers provided for provisions of such benefits, then our jobs are to praise the defective looters we call leaders, once you try questioning the bad Governance, people will despise you, call you opposition as if you are looking for self benefits, not one person will encourage you as doing the right thing.
You see where Africa will be clapping for a Governor Because he tarred a road with State fund Which is what he was elected to do, you start wondering if our senses were spiked by a Virus?.
We should be asking how much was the worth of the Un-Branded Gimcrack they brandish as a plus?.
What should be our stance is not doing what we elect you to do , but did you carry it our with specification or it was done without iota of standard that after one rainy season, it will collapse or at end of a tenure the entire road will be like Candle in the wind..
If only we have called out Governors that paved roads and it got washed away by EROSION after a tenure, I am sure others would've improved.
Some will erect Street light powdered by Fuel guzzling Generators, another will uproot same and install Solar and nobody, not even the towns where it was excavated will ask the Government to explain, dont forget that most towns have well read individuals but like i said , the senses are twisted with confusion and tongues tied with stipend of the Government or expectations that will line individual pockets.
We should be asking right questions, holding our leaders accountable, demanding to know the uses of Luxurious Cars they brandish amidst scarcity or good life to subjects.
Picketing them when they keep showing us that they live in absolute corrupt fiefdom is way to improve our standard.
The acceptable standard in Africa at large and Nigeria in particular is to align with any government in Power, take whatever Offered to you while it last and look away from decadence that is prevailing, but thank God that there's Men who are still good from center to circumference, they may be mini but they will look at things from proper perspective and not the general prism.
What we celebrate in Nigeria is inanity and it embolden the looters because they knew we don't have expectations and any chaff is a giving to us .
Until we stop demanding blessings from Pastors who promise us divine prosperity but demand you sow with Cash to unlock the vault of divinity, untill we know that Native Doctor that demand monetary upfront to give you wealth is a fraud, as he would've gotten all the monies there is, if the potency is working, you can't give what you don't have and none of the sorcerer has it to give , no matter where the Con-ster is working from, no matter the Pulpit, they have contaminated the powers we expected from God and gods ,that defective forces are now the commanders of all religions.
Good Morning, I am not crying that we change, but for us to know na ife na esi oturu isi , di ya na ime.
