Strolling down the Path..

Written Love to OKA ETITI for posterity by Mazi Odera POg JP.

OKA ETITI Ekenem unu... Piccolo asked a question about our Tradition and Culture and how it has gone South and Sour..

Let me make bold and write about it, if you're Ezigbo Onye OKA ETITI, try and share this wide and near, to Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook and other social Media Ndi OKA ETITI, perhaps the leaders will wake up and do something.

Early 80s before the Idiotic episode of 1985, the event that happened when and the day OKA ETITI wanted to launch Development Fund, that was the day Justice Anoliefo died at the hands of Robbers...

That ignited a hidden grief and agenda that was set in motion by Ndi Osochiegbu, they tactically led OKA ETITI, a town that was so blessed that any Youth from Anambara state living outside Igboland always claim to be Onye OKA ETITI.

Then every Igbo business person attached BEST to his name to tap from the success of IKB and JOEBEST the DUO was a Bomb then..

GMO was the most successful company East of the Niger and Waxing Iron clad strong.

Road master was exporting TYRES to JAPAN and they held the Nation to spell bound.

Infact, there is no trade that onye OKA veered into and will not be the Number one..including THE "INCLUDE"..

We create wealth, share wealth and help one another and that was when streets were TARRED, village Roads lighted with street lights..

We became LONDON back then.

We build palatial homes that other towns come around to behold, they visit us like Mecca.

Then at the death of Anoliefo, some Musketeers gathered in Coven and started exploitation of the highest Order, but that wasn't the abomination that buried us..

It was when they.. Brought Arusi including but not limited to NKE Ejiri nua  IYI mmadu teghete..

When they drew abominable line on the sand and stop Children married to other part of same Town from burying the parents who died and lived in other part.

Which they brandished a verdict..Ije.. Amapu gi..

Brothers stopped visiting sisters, children stopped fraternizing with parents..
Business partners fell apart..

Love got Lust and Lost and we brew so much hatred and acrimony..

We brought so much Nso Ani that provoked wealth, wealth left OKA ETITI and escape to ICHIDA,AMICHI, ORAUKWU, OJOTO and others..

Then we face the draught of disdain, we reconciled later with same spirit of.. NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISHED..

but we did not appease the land we desecrated.. Those who faned the embers never apologised nor show remorse, one way or another..

They think they have tied the eyes of Ndi Egede..

Read my lips OKA ETITI, until we come together with contrite and broken heart, until we have a Mass Return where we can pray to Almighty God for mercies, and those that believe in Tradition shall appease Ndi Ani, then we condemn intoto the abominations that raged for years and, which rendered the Town where she is now.. A sorry state..

Now  Ndi Mbia Mbia has taking over most households and gave onye Nwe Uno, Ono na ani ahu egbe..

We should know that everyone that was involved in that extortion and Racket that held a once peaceful town to isi aja aja, that person and his family never ends well..
Dip your eyes in the know and check..

The Town is the most blessed in Anambara as a state , but the blessing is on sabbatical, until we return to that previous love that knows no.. Mbaise and MBA na abo.. Until we atone for the abominations committed in the course of fighting irrelevancies, until we understand ebe mmiri siri maba anyi, then and only then shall we understand why the isrealites sang "By the Rivers of Babylon, where we sat down and where we wept, when we remember OKA ETITI".

The deed was done in great error and the correction must be reversed with odo Anya, after all, we have a saying.. Gbanu Gbanu gwujie JI, esekpulu ani, gwuputaya...

We have eating the sour fruit and our teeth is uneasy..

We must go back to look for that Black Mkpi now that the day is lighted, when it is Night and blur, Nya na ochichiri aburu otu..
