As we noticed, the Era of BOKO HARAM seems to have faded to Cattle Rustlers and now Myetti Allah which one can say na welu Ehi manye Ogburi, na welu Ogburi manye efi is same thing (Take that Cow and put her on a tether and tie that Cow with a Rope is same thing).
As we know it is aghoba aghugho that we can forget to call A Spade, Shovel and name it Agricultural Instrument.
The threat is persistent and we know that it presents clear and present danger, and we also know that whenever a Rock climbs up, the Clay Pot under will be on Panic mode.
When our elders said Igbo anaghi agba oso mmiri, ma ozughi fa aru (We seldom run away from drenching, unless the rain drenched us) but I think it is time we perceive na Nkwucha abughi ujo (Contingency is never act of cowardice).

It is time Ndigbo veer into Cattle Ranching, the difference between Cattle rearing and Ranching is that one grows Normadically, but one is suited without Harzards.
The Nature of Cow and Poultry is not vast, they both can thrive better under Shelter and will be beneficial to the owner and society without Constituting Nuisance to the environment.
I know that our President have Cows and he is not rearing them on open Field, so it must be some sought of Ranch and which brings me to the Appeal for Ranching Intervention.
Dear Governor's, sorry when I make appeal to South East Governor's, we as Ndigbo know that the appeal is for only 3 out of 5, the other 2 bu ejirim guzue, but I digress again.
I plead that those states should render asiistance or intervention to Individuals who wanted to venture into this field, the Government should argument supplies to them and then give them at a decent price, lands where they will site the Ranch and provide Medicals for the Ranch at subsidized rates.
Ranch will curb the excessive of allowing Cows to roam about, and as we know Green grass excite Cows the same way Dollar excite Nigerians, the same way we can do anything to have Dollars in abundance is same way Cow will do anything to have a good Green leafs and it doesn't matter if that is located on a Farm land as those cows doesn't discriminate or segregate, they simply graze and without boundaries.
But in so doing, they raize down Totality of Farmers yearly effort and in retaliation it causes collateral umbrage, so after I circumspect, I now tries to circumvent the Reason we have such menace.
Let's delve into proper Ranching where we can build Ranch, import Semen of Cow from Brazil, a nation known for real Cows, then Cross breed it with ours here, especially EFI IGBO, that Igbo Cow that is smallish in Nature but as strong as Bull, such cross breeding will give us what will survive and come out a Giant specie.
Same can be done with other breeds from Canada and USA, we simply Cross breed and many species will be available, then the joy and harvesting of the by product takes care of Farm expense, imagine collecting the Excrete and sale to Farmers as manure or even the Farmers using it to raise Grasses they will be using to graze the Herd.
They will have Abbatoir within or close to the Ranch with Cold Room, where they will be slaughtering the Cow and putting them in the Fridge, then Vendors will be coming with REFRIGERATED PICK UP VANS produced by INNOSON to pick up the Meat and distribute to market or butchers..
This will create clean environment, more employments and less Hostility.
The Ranch will also be producing Milk, both Liquid and perhaps Powdered ones as well or they sale off the Milk to Sundry factories that will do the rest.
How about the quantity of HIDE AND SKIN for our Shoes, Bags and Kpomo eji esi OFE?
This will also dissuade the presence of Normadic Cows as the Ranch would make the Availability handy, and the Nuisance value quarantined.
This can be also done in small scale but the bottom line is to create Ranches that will take care of Cow Meat which our body needs to grow and sustain protein.
Walking out of Ranch, before I visit Mama Chinwe for a very minut Breakfast of AKAMU garnished with TIGER NUT, MORINGA POWDER, GINGER and GARLIC with Plantain, mixed with Egg sauce, Fried Yam, Beans and Moi Moi..
Before that let me also appeal for Farming Intervention.
The Government can set out a site for Youths to go into Agriculture, the Government should bring out a place where they can lease to our ANDROID DANGLING Youths, the Youths that will always cry there is no Work, let the Government set up a Farming scheme, lease each of them 2 plots where they will be Farming from PATATOE to TOMATOES, VEGETABLES, PEPPER, ONIONS and the rest.
The Government will build quarters for them not too far from the Farm, for easy access and attention to the Farm.
Government should set up Irrigation system that will help in the watering and making the land Tender, when this is set up, I bet us that in less than 3 years, we truly should be exporting Farm produce because the Youths has more drive for survival and they will maximize the Farming and the Benefits.
That way we can cure the lack of job mantra.. Then Youth Coppers will have their services in such places, so when they pass out and can get jobs, they will be self employed..
Also Note that, if this is sustained, in few years to come, we will restore all the dying species of food we used to enjoy back in the days including UZIZA, AKIDI, ONA and many of those things that is going into extinct just because we can't Farm again.
Sirs, without Government intervention there is no way any of this will suffice, they need the Financial cushion and Government oversight and protection incase if there are disaster that befell the Farmers, the Government will buy off the losses as it is done overseas, but as we are partially known for manufacturing Frauds, this can be curbed if the Government are part of the monitoring, so any one that invents a story to Con the Government shall be found out and he or she loses the enterprise for more Honest ones.
