Today,one can look at ANMABRA House of Assembly,who acts as SPECIAL Assistants to the Governor on killing the State without consideration, as they vend out laws that works against progressive State,most of the laws they made are aimed at satisfying the Governor and or emasculating the State,but LABOUR Party members of the house suddenly disassociated selves from the charade,as they rose in unison and condemn the EPIC rape of our Local Government Autonomy which was the reason APGA as a Party joined other States to bastardize democracy and introduce ROBBERY in place of Local Government election rigging.

Today the house made law that empowered the Governor to rape each Local Government without any protection or lubricant,which would've started a huge litigation if democratic election was held ,as APGA would've been vanquished from the system and reasonable Men and women takes offices.

"Members of the Labour Party caucus in the Anambra State House of Assembly have disassociated themselves from the Local government administration bill brought by Anambra State Governor Prof Charles soludo that was passed into law on Tuesday, 8 October, 2024 by the House."

Acting like royal personal assistants to the Governor is just amputating the State for pecuniary personal aggrandizement.

" Umennajiego who addressed Journalists on behalf of others stated that the Supreme court made far reaching decisions in its 11th of July, 2024 judgement in the suit No. SC/CV/343/2024, Attorney General of the Federation VS Attorney of Abia State and Ors on the funds and autonomy of local government as third tier of the Federation."

“The judgement among other declarations barred the State Government, its agents, privies, officials and those acting for or on their instruction from interfacing, managing, collecting, receiving, spending or tampering with Local Government Council funds from Federation Account."

It's noted that Posterity will remember LP as Party that stood for the Masses and progression of the State.

LP should be appreciated for disagreeing with sections 13, 14 and 16 of the Anambra State Local Government Administration bill which is seeking to compel the Local Governments to pay their Federal allocation into an account to be established by the State Government, which runs foul of the Supreme Court judgement.
