When i heard the News or After I read the MEMO advised to you propagating Draconian method to curbing the closing of Shops and how you wanted to agree with it, i wrote an appeal, like this on October 9th 2024 and I present -

Sir, on 10th October Mr Evaristus Ubah , wrote on official government letter head , as Head of SPAD in charge of markets and Parks, with Reference number MCI/SPAD/MKT/VOL 1/61 and the letter was addressed to Markets , it includes inter Alia,  any market that did not open on Monday shall be sealed for one week and if it refuses to open after the initial sealing, it will be sealed for 1 month, then for 6 Months and indefinitely. 

Sir, there's this saying which provides na ejiro ife eji agba nti agba anya. Don't hunt for what you can't kill.

The letter did not say that the government have put security in place to stop the hoodlums from being the Menace,which have carried out Blood letting of those who had the effontery to walk on the street on the unholy Mondays, many have been Killed and the government did not investigate nor chase down the scoundrels nor gave assurance that the leak is sealed, yet you want people to stake the life yet again because the state wants to enforce IGR generation?.

I have been wondering why ANMABRA is experiencing this collosal turbulence, but it seems we are ACTING certain scripts of detractors that will enable the capitulation of our State. 

Sir, our problem is not SIT AT HOME, the problem is the Insecurities that abound. 

I made suggestions on the above link on how to reassure the state about any unknown securities improvement by your government, which is not carried. 

Sir, you may think that as number 1 Citizen of the State, that your words is the Law , but.. 

Avoid opening confrontation with traders, they will trade you over a Cup of egwusi and not even bird will fly. 

Sir, such Draconian law won't fly, it will rather destroy the purpose which is to continue raking IGR the State is loosing on Mondays and which they wants to take in exchange of lives that will be wasted, the threat is not to recover our daily bread but to recoup the IGR target of the State, but i can tell you that ANMABRA has decanter for many mindless persecution. 

Sir, you want to recover the losses of Mondays IGR, just restore Security in the state , naturally normalcy shall return, but if that is not done, you may witness hostility that you never know traders can give, don't let it start, as they will be ready to Battle Government with address, than UGM without address. 

It's better they deal with sealed market than sealed Life. 

I hope your contractors are on Sites every Monday?.

Your IGR driving Men who deck selves with reflective jackets are on the roads on Monday, Maybe to collect IGR from UGM Operators. 

Hope Ndi Ocha brigade, ARTMA are all working on Mondays as well ?.

How about banks, hope the Draconian laws covered it ? 

I know all this are happening because we don't have lawyers with feather caps in the State that will simply keep the Government in Courts, brought injunction that will rest IGR as long as the case is in Court.

 Sir ,push Traders and see them Hire some good Lawyers that will bring injunction restraining the Government from collecting IGR until a total impregnable SECURITY is returned, and that means you can't get IGR again till end of your tenure. 

Kindly thread with caution, don't let pride push you into a fight with traders they don't have anything to loose , they don't apply for re-election, but you have a Tenure.
