ANAMBARA SECURITY, IS IT A NEW DAWN or Just theatrics? written by Mkpisi. 

Two days ago , roughly a week after Marauders mauled down 14 Souls at NIBO market on a Broad daylight on a Sunday, Which the COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION ALLEDGED that they are all CULTIST ,a SECURITY report that should come from office of the Police to give it legitimacy and authenticity. 

A day after the shooting,the Governor Made inglorious stop over that reduced the Would-be condolence Visit to POLITICAL Jamboree, which in all honesty,is Protocol disaster,as Protocol has rudiments.

Then Few days after that Demonic Blood letting, another frenzy happened again this time at IFITE Óka and about 9 Souls perished as well , then the Governor announced a new Security ADVISER on Mr Ken Emeakayi. 

The problem now is , Should we be worried about the New Choice or give applaud? 

Does the new Security Chief have Blanket approval (plan and execute) or he is limited to bottle neck which comes from Governors constant interference, which is reason why no Commissioner serving in the State is in charge of any Ministry, rather they are glorified SPECIAL ASSISTANT with Office. 

Only when any Security measure is giving Teeth to bite , giving Powers to equip Vigilantes with Vehicles, Motorcycles and Armaments,will be the time we will start getting worked up on expectations ,because the amenities are equal for providing intimidating playing field,and we then must consider Home advantage to our Securities because of Government backing.

Then Security including Police, Army shall be giving Trucks that are good for rough terrains, that way they can be able to match strength with the renegades, not to leave them with the current ramshackle Vehicles and expect them to use leg and race the daredevils who always function with Utility vehicles that are swift and agile. 

The question  shouldn't be limited to the Choice of the security Czar, but can he be availed the liberty needed to bring the elusive security to the state or he will be working with tethers and shackles all around him ? .

We can look from many angle and we can applaud from many prism as well ,we are more concern and terrified of the turn of events in our State.

We may have reservation about the  choice for centrifugal reasons ,but we have to initiate the igbo metaphoric expression that provide "Ka ewelu Egbe ife di,ma nke ife adihó , welu naputa Unanwuru Ókukó oji"(We should use all available device to curb and cure the malaise,but when we discover that the appointment is not i dotted or T crossed, will we cry out for National Security intervention. Maka onye óna eme omume,na ekpesa all the time,we want assurance and insurance back to the State..dats all.

Stay tuned as we watch the Hocus pocus of the Government and watch the wand to know if it's magical or theatrical.
